I couldn’t find a lesser rating. Everything looked and tasted stale. The only thing edible was cut fruit. Simply don’t understand how a place serving such bad tasteless food is still in business. Pathetic!
Seems to be one of the more popular buffets in town, since it was packed to the gills on a Wednesday night. Had a variety of starters, from vada to Chicken Malai. The buffet had quite a few items as well as live kitchen where a range of cuisines was being offered. The salad bar was in another area so had salad only after the main course:-) The Sweet section had some very tasty sugar free sweets in the selection, so stuck to that and didn’t venture to check out the ice creams on offer. The waiters were kept on their feet by the large crowd, and it took repeated reminders to get a cup of coffee. Couldn’t locate a fruit section either though it might have been there.
Terrible, terrible food-right from the starters to the dessert. While it’s hard for me to write in detail about every dish that was served, let me just summarise it for you all.Tomato soup – pureed tomato with some ketchup thrown in,fried semolina balls-semolina something balls fried in stale oil, dahi paapdi chaat-paapdi topped with curd that tasted nothing like chaat, sabzis that came with the bread-devoid of any salt.the icing on the cake was the thayir vada which tasted sweet. And the desserts-the less said, the better.I will leave a picture of the jelly to speak for itself.Do yourself a favour and stay away from Main Street.
