Taste was good and content was nice..money worth.. comparing hotel Sangeetha and subsidiary outlet, this is better for full meal though there not many as provided by sangeetha.. only difference I mainly felt is that Sangeetha provide u papad which annalakshmi didn’t provide..But over nice..
Been here a handful of times. Taste is pretty good – meal & tiffin. Service is terrible, because of which I have stopped going. The last time I visited, I sat for nearly 15 minutes without being attended by anyone, despite several attempts to get some attention. Before leaving, I told someone who looked like manager about it so that they could improve, but he just didn’t care. Unfortunate.
Was looking for some place to dine and stumbled upon this on the way. What attracted me was their name, Mambalam annalakshmi and I prejudicially decided that their tiffins would be good.Orders: Idiyappam-Korma: I truly wish that they hadn’t served this. It smelt a little and was too rough. Didn’t dare to touch it. Informed our waitress the same politely with a smile and I was told to not eat it if I don’t want it!Adai Aviyal: Adai was dense and without any particular taste or smell but aviyal was good though it lacked the coconut oil flavour.Butter dosa: we had to correct our waitress a couple of times while she was ordering it in the kitchen (open kitchen). It was super dry except for the centre part which had a touch of butter. Disliked all three accompaniments.Finally, filter coffee. Saving grace for the evening. A strong coffee with a beautiful aroma.Service: Has a lot of room for improvement. I won’t be visiting them again just because of this.Bill: 226/- for the above.
