I have been buying Indian sweets from this place for as long as I can remember. Went today to buy Muruku, Thatuvadai, Seedai and Mixture.Since they do it in house they can monitor the quality as they have been doing for so many years.Keep it up.

Suswaad serves quality ,traditional sweets and savouries and the standards have been maintained well over the years Though I reside in Kilpauk ,my family absolutey cannot do without their mixture which is absolutely grease free to the touch n taste. We also regularly get the Paruppu Poli( Dal ) which are very thin and soft.My favourite is the Uzhundhu Appalam ( Urad Dal Pappad) which crisps up so well in the microwave ,believe me tastes better than the oil fried one so you don’t compromise on your health.I made 3 trips this week just to buy the appalam which gets sold off very fast. I think a lot of the patrons also have a taste for this great product. All of the stuff is produced on the premises and they maintain the quality as well.

This is one of those places when you crave for evening snacks and probably most authentic tam stuff.. don’t have taste for all items being a Andhrite. Fab place for a evening walk in!

A favourite joint of mine with pluses and some challenges. Parking and stuffiness are huge challenges. The preparation of some items are diff from normal preparations – for eg, murukku is done diff with diff ingredients so it lacks the traditional taste. But I am told by the shop that it is healthier! They also supply meals without rice but I think it’s not prepared by them.A good place for snacking in the evening. Some items stand out in competition. One can’t be in tnagar not visiting this joint often

Absolutely no doubt – Suswaad is one of the best place for south indian sweets and savories.Their place is also clean and hygienic. They have been maintaining this standard for the last few years. Absolutely fantastic.

Suswaad is a great place for authentic sweets. The taste makes you feel nostalgic. I especially love their crispy mysorepak – tastes exactly the way my mom and aunts make it. The manoharam is another delight. All their murukkus and wedding style laddoos are awesome. Strongly recommend this place to anyone looking for sweets/ savouries that’s taste homemade.

This is probably one of the few sweet shops that do not make sweets with a very commercial perspective. They don’t open branches in every nook and corner like a few brands(not naming them) , but where they have branches, which is like 3 , they make quality sweets, homely(very rare to get) and use much lesser oil making it safer in terms of health.Overall I would definitely recommend this place as a must-visit shopDon’t forget to drop in when you get a chance , have a sweet day!
