A pure vegetarian place with a menu curated with a twist.Served appalam and papad with mint chutney. Oily it was to start with.Thoothuvelai thulsi chaaru: more of each in the soup, dint find taste of both thulsi and thoothuvelai since the thoothuvelai dominated the other.Basket pepper mushrooms: pepper tossed mushrooms tasted well but the cup or cracker base used as a basket to top the mushrooms were hard which must be taken care of.Paapdi paneer: finely diced paneer tossed with a tangy tomato sauce served with thattai flat base which was crispy and good compared to the basket one.Surnoli is a type of Indian pancake made of fenugreek, turmeric and poha infused batter served with jaggery and kesar milk. Was new to me, but I loved this combo much.Podi idly tikka: Spicy podi idly is what is all about served with sambar and chutney.Batate bubble dosa: Bubble waffle kind of crispy butter dosa stuffed with potato masala. This was so so yummy, which I loved it so much. And definitely a must try here.Kabuli Chenna masala with chola poori: Chola poori was big enough and kabuli masala was a coconut puree based chenna masala which must be ordered separately made me feel bad for the price.Coin parota: so crispy but was even hard to taste, not my type of parota. For desserts had the thirattu paal sweet which was perfect enough in terms of ghee or milk or sweet taste. Paal kozhukattai was good either. Badam haalu holige is basically a boli kind of dish served with mango kiwi pickle and kesar milk.Coming to the biggest disappointment by ordering sulaimani tea and Zafrani chai: Both where made with tea dips which made me feel really worse. The sulaimani was a kind of black tea served hot. And zaffrani chai was a tea dip soaked in milk served hot. Hope they could bring in efforts to recreate their menu and price a bit less, because I felt many of their dishes are overpriced. Even being listed in a fine dining place they need to concentrate on what not to recreate in serving dishes with a twist. Only happiness is nothing tasted yuck, and every additives they used were fresh and perfect.Ambiance: 4.5/5Food: 2.8/5Taste: 3/5Service: 5/5The experience is all about a personal view on their dishes and place. To finish with will be visiting again for sure to make sure have they changed anything which was so disappointing to me. Since have been hearing a lot of good reviews recently about the place.
It’s a newly opened restaurant in the city with the best South Indian (vegetarian) delicacies.Food :Paneer Papdi – Perfectly crispy papdi with a perfectly cooked paneer topping. I loved the starter.Batate bubble dosa – It’s a bubble crepe with potato stuffing. It was so soft and yummy in taste. This is their signature dish and I loved itBun parotta and Tarakari korma for main course – The bun parotta was perfectly roasted and the Tarakari korma was so delicious. The rice appalam and the chutneys were super tasty.Overall the food was quite delicious as well as healthy. It was more like authentic home cooked meal.Ambience – The ambience is so refreshing and pleasing. I loved the colours and the decorService – The staff is so friendly and approachable.
