Was out with Mom near here and so decided to check this place out for lunch.I mean a full on vaazhai ilai virundhi is something you can’t say no to right?But I definitely did not find the place value for money. The service wasn’t good either. We had to keep waiting to be served.The food was pretty homely and the quality I would say was decent. I loved the sweet.But I don’t think I’ll be back again. This is at best, a one time place 🙂
Visited the Tanjore Restaurant in New Woodlands Hotel on 3rd April for lunch.This is a place where you get traditional south meal on a banana leaf.Rice, Dal, Ghee, Papad, Multi vegetables sambar, Spicy Kara Kozambu, Brinjal Avarai Curry, Ladiesfinger More Kootu, Raita, Rasam, Curd, Pineapple Kesari, Banana and Beeda.It tasted homely and was easy on stomach.Will visit again with family.

Wonderful place for authentic South Indian food. Served on a banana leaf, food is very tasty without any commercialization. Staff can be a bit more smiling, prompt in service and response.
