Al Kebab provides some really exotic dips to go with their juicy kababs and I would perhaps say it’s these melt in the mouth spreads that add the signature element to the whole escapade. This is a small joint located in a quaint suburb of Alwarpet. There are just a couple of tables to sit around and it seems more like a home delivery option.I ordered for a chilli cheese samosa, peri peri cheese panneer tikka and a Malai Brocoli. The samosa was stuffed with oodles of cheese. The panneer pieces were soft and succulent and went well along with the garlic dip. The Brocoli could have had an extra dollop of malai but still tasted decent. On the whole, it was quite impressive. The prices seem a little on the higher side for more of a snack based eatery option. But if you like your kababs, you certainly get very good ones here.
Seek kebab! NOT attention! And this weekend when me and Vishal Pandiyan got out to hunt for a place to lunch, we landed at @alkebabco !A brand new 15 seater, located below @hutong.in in Alwarpet, specializing in kebabs! The menu is well planned though limited and the dips served with the kebabs are brilliant! In the picture: Mutton Keema Samosa, Kali mirch murgh and Tandoori lamb. We chose the fried bread and rice to go on the side. The bread was similar to a bhatura and the rice, cooked with spices and both went perfect with the kebabs. The kebabs were marinated with amazing spices and cooked to perfection! The dip – whew, the mango dip was my personal favorite.Coming to dessert, we tried the chocolate mousse and it was to die for. Not too sweet, right amount of bitter and the consistency – Wallah!A meal for two – 800/- totally worth it.Try it!! sammienatorr.com
