Our meal at focaccia was absolute delicious, the chef ensured he made something to suit my grandmothers palate. We all had something as per our taste and requirement. I has this absolutely delicious and heavy Champagne scallops risotto at focaccia. The chef not only nailed the taste but was extra generous with the quantityThe hospitality at Hyatt regency is fantastic .Follow my Instagram account small_s_plate for more food and travel adventure.

Wine: 1928 prosecco was a great start to an amazing Italian Saturday brunch here. Main course: Prawns, lamb and everything nice. what a variety in display! Loved them all. Cheese tasting was also done. So many varieties to enjoy and indulge in. They also had Breadsticks, dry fruits, nuts and much more to binge on.Desserts: Best part of the brunch and loved these to bits. Loved the dessert jars, tiramisu and the tarts!I also loved my lime and mint mojito. Very refreshing. To end this: Italian at its best. Had an amazing Il Grande Pranzo experience.

The staff are not trained, despite some of the food being good, one does not enjoy it as it comes to the the table cold and with terrible indifferent service. The pizza and the scallop risotto were exceptional as were the starters. The gnocchi was average, the duck was not cooked enough though we asked for well done. Asparagus soup was not available and the desserts – apple mousse and tart were not fresh though tiramisu was good.

Focaccia has a pleasant ambience and vibe, that’s one of the things I love about this restaurant. Talking about the food , we ordered : • Asparagus soup, brown bread gnocchi – Too full to eat a whole meal? Try this clear healthy veggie soup. • Panzanella, burrata, olio al basilico – burrata cheese, panzanella salad, olive oil and basil. The burrata cheese was spectacular and the salad was super fresh. • Pollastra pizza – chicken, jalapeño , onion and oregano. The pizza was okay, nothing too great. • The vegetarian pizza – grilled zucchini , bell peppers , eggplant and mushrooms • Risotto aifunghi- mushroom risotto , white truffle cheese fondue. The risotto was quite sweet and too creamy and filling. • Ravioli di ratatouille- the ravioli was yum. • Spaghetti with prawn and broccoli – The prawn and broccoli was fresh and tasty but the spaghetti was dry and bland which was disappointing.• coffee tiramisu- one of the best tiramisu’s ive tried.

For all ye Pizza lovers, Hyatt Regency has brought the World Champion Pizza Acrobat, Chef Pasqualino Barbasso for us to witness his dexterity with dough. We had the pleasure of watching the master perform some skillful acrobatic moves, and it was quite spectacular.PIZZASThey have an intriguing selection of both Veg and Non-Veg Pizzas. These are made using his unique ingredients and secret recipe. All these pizzas are thin crust and are as authentic as it can be.We tried a few of his beautiful creations. All the pizzas had something unique in taste, unlike anything I had tried before. Certain combinations like the ‘Asparagus and Salmon’ was refreshing to my palette and was easily my favorite of the whole.’Pistachio’ was yet another interesting option from the menu. The flavor of pistachio cream and cheese melded beautifully together. If you are a cheese lover, try not to miss the ‘Cheese Supreme’ pizza. It’s made using four types of cheese, making it the softest and richest of all the pizzas we tried.I liked ‘Polly’ as it was simple and nice, with only the spinach adding to a nice touch.‘King Prawn’ is a perfect choice for people who love seafood. It is creamy with a faint hint of zest.’Truffled’ is a pizza with a distinctive taste, which you’ll either love or hate. It is an acquired taste.Overall, it was a fun-filled experience which wasn’t just about the dramatic way of making pizzas, but also the fantastic pizza varieties that we got to relish. This special food spectacle is only till February 10th. So don’t miss out Chef Pasqualino Barbasso’s prowess in pizza making.—-EARLIER REVIEW:-This is the only restaurant I tried through Restaurant Week India. Visited with a friend for lunch. We got ourselves a two seater and felt the place was stifling, so I asked them about the air conditioning and they vaguely replied that its not working. They made us sit in another table, which was a little better. The menu is prefixed however they have 3 to 4 options in each course for us to choose any 1dish from each course. What we had :-Appetizers:#Verdure Grigliate – Its a simple combination of grilled vegetables like bell pepper, eggplant, mushroom, tomato, zucchini etc. Tasted good with the right hint of smoke from the grill.#fritto Misto – Sort of a small seafood platter that has deep fried fish, prawns, squid and a saffron dip. I loved the prawns and fish, very crispy.Main Course:#Pollo Arrosto – Its a herb roasted chicken served with potato patty and string beans. The chicken was cooked to perfection, the meat was so tender and it went well the sauce they topped it with.#Ravioli di Funghi – Its a lamb ravioli with lamb ragout and cream. My friend loved it. I had a taste of it and I should say the ravioli tasted amazing with the stew.Desserts:#Cassata with sherry compote – Probably the smallest piece of cassata I have ever had. Tasted fine but I liked the sherry compote more.#chocolate salami – This was stunning. They served two pieces, it tasted so good, by the end of it I was craving for more. The price of this 3 course meal for two was around 2000INR incl of taxes which we had to pay in advance while booking the table. The quantity was a little less, but for 1000 a person in a five star is completely worthy. My only gripe was the AC not working in a place like this. The service was very good. thesoulsorbet.com

Visited Focaccia for lunch to cherish some good italian ala-carte.The ambience is beautiful and peaceful. It’s extremely posh and quiet making the dining experience remarkable (5/5)Talking about the food, the way all the dishes are presented are fabulous and would make the taste buds pour out in seconds. The menu offers very limited dishes but the uniqueness of every dish compensates for it. The food in focaccia is just delicious.I had ordered shrimp-scallop tart, risotto, lobster ravioli, chicken codron-bleu and a ham-bacon pizza. The lobster ravioli was out of the world and the rest were all really great and totally worth it. Definitely one of the best places to enjoy some great and luxury italian lunch/dinner (5/5)The service was amazing. The waiters were extremely responsive and made our dining experience top notch.(5/5)

Focaccia is an amazing place for Italian food, it has a very romantic ambience, totally in love with the place. Interestingly the names on the menu was in Italian and it was kind of differentSalads:Tried a salad with parmesan millefeuille, truffle zucchini flan, carrot & goat cheese cream, it was perfect and it was presented beautifully.Pizza:Tried a grilled zucchini pizza, with bell peppers and egg plant. It was cheesy with thin crust and one the best pizza I have had till now.Pasta :A special mention to the chef who took personal attention in knowing our interests and created a classic penne arrabiata, it was the best of all.Dessert:Focaccia is known for their desserts so tried a dessert called focaccia’s tiramisu, it was so soft and gooey with an aroma of fresh ground coffee powder sprinkled on the top.Me being a coffee hater absolutely loved the dish. Every single component went in perfectly. One of the best tiramisu I’ve had. It’s a must try dish.Taste: 9/10Ambience : 10/10Value for money : 8/10Overall experience : 8.5/10
