On repeated visits, I tried their Idly, Dosa, Podi Idly and Medu vada. It won’t take long for you to figure this stomach-friendly food joint adds no additives or taste enhancers in their food.The obvious speciality of this place is their home-cooked food. Courteous, helpful staff make dining quicker. Most of the customers are regulars. Like any other mess, self-service with no seating clearly conveys the message: come, eat, pay and pave way for other customers to eat.

Today morning visited this small outlet for breakfast, as I was travelling from Mount Road to Taramani. The time was around 10 am, I asked for Pongal and it got over so ordered dosai, as the dosai has to get ready in the meantime I ordered for poori. The poori was already made and kept in a container likewise how the Idly and vada in a hot container. The poori was chill and the potato taste was not that good, the dosa was made of sour dosa batter, which was smelling a bit. I lost interested in eating and the Sambar was not hot, and chutney was taste was very average and watery.A total disappointment, even though it’s a pocket-friendly hotel, the quality of food was not good and coming to the hygiene part, again a big?
