We first saw the ad for theplas at the Madras Boat Club notice board and called the number listed in the ad. Vandana who distributes these theplas runs a salon in Alwarpet. She advised that the product will have to ordered a day in advance since they believe in selling fresh. We were very impressed by the quality and taste of theplas when we picked them up the next day. We have been repeat customers and would happily recommend these delicious snacks that melt in the mouth. I also think at Rs 150 for a pack of ten, these theplas offer great value for money. I also learn from Vandana that the theplas are made by an NGO that employs disadvantaged women looking for a livelihood. So that’s even more reason for supporting this venture

Excellent quality thepla at very reasonable prices. A must try! What makes thepla even more fantastic is that it is organic,healthy and can last for days in the fridge. A must carry if one is travelling.
Excellent fresh theplas, especially if you are travelling. A vegetarian will never go abroad without these theplas. Fab theplas, with so much flavour and they, are made of some organic ingredients too! not to miss their srikhand, it’s yummy!

Good theplas, with lot of flavours and they taste fresh. The soft ones as well as the crispy ones. Some Gujarati good items can make u satisfied. A nice place
