If you want to have a proper south Indian yela saapadu or Real kalyana saapadu. Try this. Delivery was good. Quantity and quality both were good.
good delivery and food was good
One of the best place for authentic south Indian Brahmin foods. Worth for the money. If you are visiting hotel there , then you can eat in banana leaf.
The food quality is superb. I cannot think of a better place for a Satisfying sumptuous vegetarian meal or tiffin. They change menu everyday to ensure variety and no boredom is caused
Worst experience!. Ordered a Elai saapadu costing 220rs which they told would be sufficient for two PPL. But it is not even fit to be eaten for one person. Everything came up in tiny boxes. They specified that for 220rs, 12 items would come, but we received only 8items and that too the tomato raitha came in a dip /pickle box which is just half a spoon of a raitha.Dear maavadu team, if you want to mint money, please do it elsewhere, kindly dont cheat People by saying Brahmin traditional home food and all. The food tasted ok only. Pure cheating! And yes delivery service as quoted by others was pathetic! Good i did not take up their so called monthly/weekly subscription. Disappointed.
Absolutely useless food. Not worth paying 180 rs for this lunch. Thought food will be great here as it’s being run by famed pyramid natarajan’s brother, but greatly disappointed that it’s so bad .
I checked in to maavadu.in for a 1130 am brunch. It was a no onion no garlic lunch. The Menu:vadicha saadham,nei, parupu podi, arachuvita sambar, jeera rasam, vendikai vethakuzhambu, thandukeerai kootu, Kathrikai Kari, vellari salad, pacha milagai thayir pachadi, elumichai oorgai, veppilaikatti, appalam, thayir, arisi thengai payasamWhat I loved: The large banana leaf which itself was a sign that you can relish the saapadu. I loved the mild spice levels maintained in all the items. I was impressed. I just said to myself at the end – nalla thrupthiya sapitachu.What I thought can improve: Vendikkai Vethakuzhambu -It was sticky and was not like the authentic version. Maybe one odd day for me. Cost – Rs 160 is definitely high. But once a month, it is worth to pay for the quality of food they serve.
