I’ve been here countless times. next to my pg. Tried almost everything on the menu here. My all time favorite is prawns fried rice. This place won’t be much crowded. They don’t have wide range of desserts. Most of the times they’ll be out of casata and kulfi. Service will be fine. Quantity they serve will be fine but the price is bit high..
Despite a dismal experience with one of GINGER’s alternate branches, I decided to dine here with my family. This place is mostly vacant. It is mostly filled with people who have occupied their rooms upstairs. So, do not be surprised by the diners’ very informal attire. The service is easy as, yes, you can communicate in Hindi here. Ahem! But, the service is slow due to the inexperience in catering many guests/diners at one time. Also, since very few diners come in here, availability of cutlery can be an issue. Control your drool as you helplessly wait for the slow-moving waiter(s) to get them to you. Also, I felt the tables to be small when and if occupied by 4 diners at the same time. The food is surprisingly good. Do not try any other cuisine apart from the Indian and the Chinese because if you know how the other cuisines should taste, you might end up storming out of this place. The pricing is just right and I must add to their plus points – they are open until 11PM!
Ambience :Light quality – A simple ambient lighting.Noise – Silent Space – Average Furniture – Comfortable cushioned sofas/ chairsSmell – Neutral odour Food :I have been there a couple of times for the breakfast and the food is not so remarkable. Their vadas are good compared to the other items on the menu. Dosas taste much like your home food. Puri, pongal and the sides are not bad. To sum up, the restaurant offers you an average food.Presentation :Any efforts are hardly taken to make the food appealingService/ Staff : Their service is good and the staffs are gentle. You don’t have to keep bugging them every time.Price :Prices are low and their morning buffets are totally worth it. The morning buffet is priced at around 100 bucks and it has always been my saviour on any hungry morning. ‘An awesome place for broken yet hungry individuals’ 😀 Beware of the sunday crowd, the place gets packed up easily owing to the Holy Mass in a nearby church. So be early on sundays. 😉
I wasn’t impressed with this place. Simple seating area, food is indian and chinese, not the great one. It’s ok when you are really hungry and don’t have time to search for another place to eat.
The recently renovated restaurant serves good food and economically priced. The interesting feature is the attached ice cream parlour, where we could get some exotic treats even at 11:00 in the night.
