A place that I’ve known for a very long time.Ambience: It’s a regular-medium sized bakery that has been growing since forever. Sometimes, cleanliness may become an issue. It easily gets crowded after 6.30-7.Staff: There’s nothing to complain about the service in this bakery as they treat you like normal stores do.Price range: They have foodstuffs that start from a nere 10₹ and cakes peak up to rates like 800-1000I ordered sambar vada and it was warm and very soggy, no complaints other than that. I personally do not prefer cham cham sandwich as it was more of a roshogulla and rasmalai mix than anything else. I’d previously tried their blackforest cake and it was their best. They also serve chaat, cakes, Samosa, puff and the like, tiffen for the night and fried rice.
Good place for a quick hangout. It may be difficult to accommodate if you visit as a group of more than 4 as the seating capacity is low. Reasonable prices and easily locatable. Waiting to try out the pizzas they serve there 😉 They seem to have listed quite a few variety more than the regular ones. Edit: They have stopped serving Pizzas 🙁

A good place for a quick bite if live around the place. Nice tasty burgers, gobi manchurians, pastas, noodles and fried rice are the main highlights. Nowadays you can even get south indian food for dinner (Haven’t tried it out yet, though).
Rajan Bakery has renovated and the ambiance looks appealing now. They have only 3 tables with 4 chairs each which makes it a bit of a bother if they’re crowded which is the case most evenings. They have pastries, savories, sweets and even a small chat corner. They also cater tiffin items.I went in to try their famous Gobi Manchurian. As it was made fresh I tried to kill time by ordering their variety puffs. They have Paneer, mushroom, egg puffs which are really good. The Gobi manchurian was served in 10mins,piping hot and bit oily to my taste. But it tasted so delicious that I forgot all about the oil and deep dived into the dish. I polished off with some jalebis which didn’t actually impress me much.On the whole a good place for evening munching.
Love their egg puff, cream buns, chocolate cookies. bun butter jam, donuts (a very sugary version- feel too health conscious to have them anymore). The locality has for long strived on the fast food they offer in the evenings (the menu has expanded to include more options in recent times). Some of the absolute must try’s are: macroni with gobi, gobi manchurian, noodles and chilly parota. Most of these are extremely oily and definitely not for the health conscious.Though the hygiene levels very sub-standard in the past, with the renovation I am hoping they have addresses these concerns.Must try -EGF PUFF! bingingbanker.com
