Nic Nac is a chat joint opposite to panagal park. They have been in business for more than 2 decades. South indian food, chat and juices are quite affordable here. Any shopper around panagal park who wants to have a quick bite can try this place at least once.
An Average one at TNagar. When you go shopping and feel really hungry, you can have here. I had Mixed chaat which had so muvh of sauce. The quantity was huge and the price was okay.
It is a good place to have a quick bite and go on to your business. They keep most chat items and also the lunch. You’ll hardly find a food joint in Chennai that is able to do justice with North Indian Chat items. This is your go to place after Gangotri if you’re a north Indian and craving for chats. Samosa is good, Dahi bada is a must try. I go there often and whenever I go, I don’t forget to get a packet of dry pani poori. The owner is a nice, friendly man. Earlier, there was only one floor open for visitors. They’ve done some renovations recently and now they’ve a seating arrangement upstairs too.
Awesome place for quick gobbling in between hectic shopping. Value for money. 5 stars to the single waiter who handles the crowd very efficiently with quick response and calmness. Apt location to walk in amidst busy shopping. Too small dine in for a crowd and no parking.
A very small yet noticeable shop in between the big stores . just a perfect place to eat if you are tooooooo hungry and you have nowhere to go. The pavbhaji is good. Pani poori ok.. Not authentic. Gobi manchurian is more of gobi pakkodas. And juices are really good. Coffee smells good.. Can’t comment about that coz I don’t drink coffee. Overall a mediocre place.
Have been here a couple of times. Very small shop and hardly any place to sit. This place is really good for chats. Other south Indian dishes taste average. Not very hygienic. I would suggest this place for a quick evening bite especially for chat items.
Many unique tastes are discovered among street shops. So wouldn’t leave one that had been at this same location for a long time. The pani puri was good but the gobi manchurian was dripping colour additives, the fried rice was covered in ajinomoto. The veg biriyani was okay for a street place. The lassi was good. Go in for chats, would not recommend for other foods.
