The Mayflower is currently one of the most happening places in Chennai and pretty much everyone I know has either been there already and I was slightly late to the party. With a speciality of Dimsums being the central feature here, we tried quite a few variety of them including Spinach & Corn Dumpling and Chocolate Momos(Don’t miss this) for dessert .Other items that we tried were French onion soup, Crispy Lotus Stem (definitely recommended) and Mezze Platter (Almost perfect).Walking in with no expectations, this came as a superb delight to me as all items were prepared really wellComing to the ambience, it’s redecorated inside a beautiful house and absolutely Insta Worthy for some classy pics on the foyer. Definitely recommend it for a lovely dinner! muralikarthik.in

Went on a Sunday afternoon for lunch. It’s a house converted into a restaurant. Love the ambience. Refreshing with lots of plants all over which goes very well with the choice of wall paint and decor. Seating is comfortable and spaced out well. Ordered broccoli cream soup, lotus stem appetizer, Spaghetti Aglio e Olio and Thai green curry. The soup was super creamy and the shredded cheese melted beautifully. The lotus stem starter was super crispy and tasted so good. The Aglio e Olio I felt today was not fully cooked and more bland than usual. We had requested to cancel the order and he was more than willing to cancel it. The Tahi green curry rice was the best. The flavor was just perfect and rice also soo well cooked. The portion size I felt was big and hence just the three were too much for two people. Hence, could not sample the desert. Overall, great value for money and much appreciation to the staffs. Definitely coming back another time.
