I would suggest to drop ‘Madurai’ from the hotel name. Not even a single dish had the authentic Madurai flavor. Not worth for money spent. If someone calls this place as authentic Madurai restaurant., two minutes of silence for them.

My first experience in auntentic Madurai Pandian hotel was really good. one fine day, my friend ordered briyani in this hotel. The taste remind me of my hometown briyani. I like briyanis made of samba or some other briyani rice not basmathi rice. Since it was pongal holiday, I waited for two days to enjoy briyani in Madurai pandian hotel. Due to my inconvenient time i missed briyani on that day. I went at 4 pm. I ordered chicken hot and sour soup and egg Schezwan fried rice.Taste was really good.So here are my ratings Egg Schezwan rice – 4/5 (spicy) Chicken hot and sour soup – 3/5The cons are it wasn’t value for money. portion is very less and i found egg whites more than chicken peices. So my aim is to taste the briyani.The next day itself i went along with my friend. We ordered chicken sweet corn soup 1 by 2. Then mutton biriyani and plain briyani.Pros: Briyani is so spicy and flavouristic. Feel yum to eat.Cons: Mutton peices are not well cooked. Soup was lil bit salty.Talking about the ambience, the hotel have enough space and lighting is also cool. They have a very good list of karoke songs. Enough parking space is also there to park vehicles.Overall my rating for this hotel is 3.8/5
ONLY SERVERS UNCOOKED RAW MEAT IN BRIYANI AND WILL ARGUE WHEN COMPLAINED ABOUT THE FOOD. YOU WONT GET PROPER SERVICE OR FOOD. PLEASE SKIP THE HOTEL. worst service worst food.
Authentic madurai food, packed well, spicy seeraga samba biriyani, bun parotta was fluffy and delicious and finally the gravy is top notch!!!
Ordered Plain Biryani. Toooo spicy and oily. Too much masala. Very bad experience.
