I’m quite partial to family owned places and small joints. I would have really liked to rate this place higher but sadly the food was below average. Let’s start with the positives. This is a small South Indian restaurant in Ramapuram having both AC and non AC seating. We ordered idli, vada, dosa and coffee. The dosa was decent enough and came with three chutneys and sambar. They topup the chutneys as much as you want – which is a major plus. The vada was cold – clearly having been made sometime earlier. It wasn’t bad but I wouldn’t say I prefer cold vadas. The idli was the major disappointment. If they idlis aren’t good, my opinion of the entire place comes down and that’s what happened here. They were semi solid at best and weren’t cooked well. What lifted my spirit was the coffee – it was really yummy and very well made. Overall I would rate it below average – although I would highly like to rate it as average. I hope they pick up their quality standards and I would like to visit again.

I’m not a big fan of this place, I don’t consider a meal fulfilling until it has meat involved, however this place changed my mind, the food is actually really filling and the variety is really astonishing, the impeccable south Indian food here can’t go wrong. Nevertheless I found the management to be a bit rude and unprofessional.. but yes I guess I’ll have a meal or two again this week from this place
