I tried lunch here. I orederd meals it was not good. Sambar and rasam are like water. It is not worth for money. My friend ordered chappati it was OK.
Lovely food. The ambience might fool you into thinking that the food is sub par but the food and packaging more than makes up for the place looks. Authentic local flavors.
I usually never go to any restaurants at Adambakkam cos I’ve had many bad experiences. I never thought of going to this place even though I use this route very often cos I’ve felt lazy parking here due to traffic.Gave this place a try yesterday and I must say I really liked it. Both the tiffin varieties and the Chinese items were very good. Will definitely visit again often.
Very unhygienic. I went to get take away food when I saw this waiter grab a fistful of salt using his bare hands, put it in a cup and serve a customer. Yuck, I have stopped visiting this place ever since
It’s one of the oldest hotel i’ve know and visit since i was little boy. It’s located near Alandur subway, opposite of IOB bank, Adambakkam. They have separate parking space and gets contested due to traffic. The ambiance was good and the menu is filled with classic South Indian dishes ranging from variety of dosa, idly, to fried rice and some Chinese cuisine. I’ve had plain roast, Ghee roast, pedi dosa, poori, Chilli porota, Fried rice, veg noodles and plenty of other dishes from this place and they never let me down. The portions are generous and the quality of the dish is top notch. This place is a heaven for Vegetarian foodies and the pricing was ok back then, but in recent times they have hiked the price of certain dishes. I’d recommend this place to people who love to have south indian food and in case of a quick breakfast or dinner before or after office. I rate Chennai dosa 4/5
Good restaurant for south indian cuisine. Dosas, poori, vidai, idili etc. were good. Coffee could be better. One of the good restaurants for the daily food.
Awesome food. Panner and mushroom kothuparttos s my favourite. Specially Chinese varities are unbelievable. Food tastes are better than a Chinese restaurant.
