The manager Balaji said all the tables were sold off but would still like to give me one if I pay 30k. What kind of a business tactic is that? He could have straight away asked me to pay 30k for a table. And 30k with the kind of DJ the place has, pricey drinks they offer. I’m sorry but I’m never coming back again.
The best in town for night life. Crowd gets crazy. Wish more foreign liquor were there. Excellent dance floor and an average DJ. Need to experience it once for sure. The service was decent on a Saturday night.
I was with few of my friends at Q-Bar , Hilton, Hilton Chennai, late night on Saturday, 10th August, when a stranger picked a fight with me. I did nothing to provoke him, he was clearly drunk and he assaulted me. I confronted him. But what happened after that is what’s shocking to me. The bouncers literally picked me up and asked me to leave along with my friends. Clearly, we were only minding our own business, but the guy who assaulted me wasn’t questioned at all. The manager and the bouncers started behaving as if it was my fault. Honestly, it is very disheartening to see such behaviour from these people. We were only trying to have a fun night out, and we were asked to leave for no reason while the guy who assaulted me wasn’t questioned at all. This is completely unfair, the bouncers and the manager targeted us because they didn’t have the courage to question someone who was actually wrong. They only asked the guy to leave once they realised that a lot of my friends were also present there. Until then the manger’s and the bouncers’ reasoning was that I was asked to leave because I had come with girls, and it’s not safe. Honestly, if it is a question of safety and it is, the guy who assaulted me should have been sent outside. Qbar and Hilton, please understand what safety is first. It’s everyone’s right to be in a space without being assaulted by random strangers, whether drunk or not.
