I still don’t understand why the reviews are poor for this restaurant .i am used to this restaurant for last 15 years of my sales career.Go for Biriyani,parotta and chapatti here along with Mutton and chicken gravy
Visited this place for lunch on a weekday. Located near a busy junction, will affect the parking a lot. I wouldn’t recommend to visit this place with a car, even bike parking might get difficult during peak hours.Dishes ordered:- Mughlai chicken biryani- Schezwan crabThe Mughlai mutton biryani wasn’t for me. Though there were succulent mutton pieces, the taste was not that great(personal opinion). The garnishing on top with grated egg was looking cool though. The raitha that came along with it was watery and didn’t go well with the biryani too.The Schezwan crab was good and spicy as expected.This place will not burn a hole in your pocket, so you can definitely try out other dishes too.

This is a very old hotel situated just opposite to Park Hyatt, Guindy. They have opened this restaurant after renovation. When I was working in MAC house, we regularly used to order Biriyani, Chicken 65, Chicken Lollypop and other stuff from this hotel. The food taste will be average at that time.Now they have renovated, first floor is Air-conditioned. Went with my office colleagues for lunch, ordered Hariyali Kebab, Mutton Biriyani, Mutton Muhal Biriyani and Spl Mutton Biriyani.All the three Biriyani tasted great, each with a different flavour, the mutton pieces were soft and tender, Hariyali Chicken was not up to the mark.Highly recommended for Biriyani.Location – 3.5/5.0; Ambience – 3.5/5.0; Food – 4.0/5.0; Service – 3.5/5.0; VFM – 4.0/5.0 vijayslsl.wordpress.com
