I got to know about this place quite recently while I was searching for a nice momo joint to satiate my momo craving. Therefore, I rode for atleast 3 km from IIT Madras to this place, thankfully not in vain. I really liked the place and its momos, especially tandoori momos which come quite near to the ones I had in Delhi. The only thing that bothered me was the fried momos being too oily, apart from that its a good place to hang out if you love enjoying momos.
Spicy Achari kebabs and mild flavoured malai kebabs are my favourites. Had an Achari Doner kebab today, brilliant! Tandoori momos are must try.Close to my house, so definitely a regular place.
Extremely good kebabs.. I had the achari doner kebab and garlic chicken kebab. It was delicious and sumptuous.. when all the sauces and kebab gets sandwiched in that beautiful bread . God ! It’s heavenly ! Good work!
Their kebabs are succulent and tasty! The rolls are HUGE! Tandoori momos are unique and nice!!! Try this place if you love kebabs and want value for money. Best for take away as they only have standing tables.
Good variety. Nice taste. Standard quantity. Friendly staff. Momos and kebabs are both good. Really like the sauces provided. Easy on the pocket as well.
I’m not really sure how this place is still rated below a 4 stars. Had brilliant food the both times that I’d gone. Their kebabs and momos are equally brilliant. The malai dressing for their kebabs is top notch especially when paired with the rumali rotis. Impeccable food served piping hot and full of flavour. My suggestions would be,1) Place a dustbin in the area where the stools are. I myself had no option but to throw the toothpicks on the ground. 2) Provide more options for beverages apart from just water. 3) Serving time for momos could be a tad quicker. 4) Not sure if this is asking for too much, but a wee bit of ventilation would do a great deal for us when eating especially in the sweltering heat in Chennai. Unfortunately, I was too busy gobbling up the food to take pictures. Until next time then.
