Very few places in Chennai serve good North Indian food and this place is one of them. Food quality is good and quantity the best I’ve ever been to. Improvements can be made on small things but overall very good and can be visited if you are in that area.

Worst fried rice masquerading as a biriyani. An abomination. Utter waste of ingredients. Only good thing was they did not charge me for it. Paneer dish okay. Their subji handi was atrocious , super spicy and oily. Rotis were doughy. A dismal experience. Would not visit again.

I really love this place’s ambience. I visited when #hola was here and that’s why I wanted to visit this place when DHAATU RESTAURANT took this though I know it’s fully north indian cuisine. What did we try?Rotis, Naan, Chicken tikka masala and Fish tikka and some beverages. Except beverages the main course we’re pretty much good and juicyCost ?1500/- Inc taxService? The staffs were really friendly and ensured we were kindly treated. I would like to give 5/5 for thatDefinitely will visit them again to try other main courses

Dhaatu, a fine dining rooftop restaurant has opened their doors Jus 50 metres from the Besant Nagar Beach. The cuisine included a fusion of North Indian dishes and additionally some Chinese starters as well.Highlights of my dinner included the Panner Tikka Platter, Lotus stem, Gol Gappe, Rajma Pathankot and Achari Tawa ending with a hot delicious Gulab JamunThis was Incidentally the same place where Hola was located before they shifted.P. S. A rooftop dinner would be super ideal if you’re looking for a special candle light dinner facing the seaside muralikarthik.in

New place in town just opposite to Besant Nagar Beach. This place is a new Venture by the Delhi Highway Restaurant. Really enjoyed my time at this place. A cozy rooftop ambiance with a sea view as well as a AC dining. The starters were good, i would recommend naram dil kebab and paneer tikka platter. In mains, Rajma and Shahi paneer was my best pick. The only improvement i suggest for main course would be the a larger portion size. The desserts were also delectable, I recommend moong dal halwa and gulab jamun. Overall a decent place to enjoy with your friends and family. My Ratings :-Food – 4Ambiance – 4.5Service – 4.5Value for money – 4Overall – 4.5Happy Fooding 🙂

A Punjabi cuisined restaurant- so that without a second thought goes to my favorites! The restaurant has casual dine in and rooftop dining as well.We started off with the Basil Tomato Soup which was served hot and relishing. In the Chaat, we had the Dhai Balla Papdi Chaat and the only dish that I felt need improvement as it was bland and it could have had some salt for a better taste.Starters = Mind BlowingMay it be the charcoal mushrooms or the achari paneer Tikka platter, it was served hot, rich and authentic. Crispy lotus stem had it’s sour and juicy taste. The main course with the bread spread, rice along with Kadai Paneer and Dal Bukhara was just the soulful Punjabi food that we all crave for.Above all this, the moong Dal halwa has my heart and I would definitely visit this place number of times to try them.
