A Visit to the Bessy beach is incomplete for us without having a quick bite from here.Located opposite to the old fish market and on the same Lane of the Besant Nagar police station.This place was introduced to me by my friend who’s been going here over a decade and I’ve been going here past three years and have almost tried everything which is on their display.The shop is small but they have a good collection of pastries, rolls, pizzas, buns, biscuits, samosas, etc that is perfect for an evening snack or quick bites.They even make fresh fruit beer which is a thirst quencher, I’m not fan of soda so haven’t had it yet.The items they posses are of good quality, always fresh and stacked with new ones often. It’s located at corner of road that leads to cpwd qtrs .

THE perfect hangout for school students, people who play at bessy beach, and people just looking for a quick snack and a refreshing drink ! Kasthuri Bakery has it all ! The ever friendly ‘Chetta’ sells every little snack for every kind of budget ! samosas, puffs, cakes, rolls, chilli balls, chips, biscuits, pastries and branded snacks as well ! the highlight of the place is the extremely popular flavoured soda machine, my personal favourite being the fruit beer ! perfect for the summer evening thirst ! You will love this place for it’s friendly atmosphere and young clientele !
I have been going there for the last 12 years and not once have i been disappointed.Its home ground to students of st.johns. when we look at a bakery they serve the same thing bread,puff etc but here its just an emotion you mite get better puff or the same bottle of coke else where but the fun from Cheta and the fake fruit beer just gives us the chills.will be the best place always!!
I go there to get there hot veg puff. Very very tasty. We used to eat every day after school. Now also whenever i go around the area i will grab one hot and fresh.
