Was here last weekend with friends and I was particular on not visiting them until I had finished my european vacation to Budapest and Prague. This was because- I did not want an experience here to be half baled before I experienced the original – also I did not want it to influence my judgement of how the original version tastesSo to give a quick knowledge share, we found this delicacy (kurtos) more in Prague than in Budapest, its called Trdelnik in Prague and Kurtoskalacs in Budapest; if you ever go hunting for them during your holiday. Now about the place:- they make the kurtos fresh and have extraordinary savoury variants (something which I missed when in Europe). The garlic punch in the bread and the generous meat feeling made it very enjoyableGave me a feeling that I have waited all life for the day I was to try this dish; been craving to revisit ever since. – the chimney cake which was served sliced and coated with nuts were lighter and good to snack on after the savoury session. While I am fully pleased with the dining and experience, I would like to see a few additions in the place: – chocolate softy for filling (Only because I hate vanilla)- some simple choco shakes; come on every place has a chocolate shake to choose from. PricingA meal four four and extensively trying out dishes cost us less than 300 per head, which is reasonable. ServiceGood food comes with some patience, so you may need to wait for your dish to be made fresh. AmbienceDespite the heavy spells of rain, the place was well maintained. It has the visual appeal of a QSR and comfortable dining furniture. On a summary note, thanks for bringing this delicacy to India and not making it fully desi. Be prepared to host me often and thanks for giving me an additional motivation to visit Bessy,, which is definitely my favourite location in the city. bingingbanker.com
