Fell in love with their awesome cakes the moment the photos loaded up on their website. We badly wanted a special cake for a special occasion and it was my wife who stumbled upon V’s Bakehouse and some of their creations made us drool!V is actually for Ms.Veena who runs the show and she personally attends to the calls and offers suggestions as well. As we were particular that we didn’t want any fondant in our cake we went for a fresh cream filling in a Chocolate themed cake with a basket type design and lovely pink rosettes with a cute white rosette in the center. The orders can be done online and they take part payment through bank transfers and the rest can be done in person. It was pleasantly surprising to actually have Ms. V deliver the cake herself thereby giving it the signature personal touch (she relies heavily on google maps so might have some tough time reaching your destination especially if your topography has some typical Chennai style mazework)The cake was presented so beautifully and was a smashing hit on our occasion. Didn’t get a chance to thank V after the special day so here is the thanks with the review for which I have the pleasure of writing the first!Some of the cakes can be a bit high on the cost factor but the presentation and the taste kind of make up for it.
