Authentic, Delicious and Fulfilling! That sums up my experience at Hotel Saravana Bhavan at Perungudi. Tried the Self service counter, there is some satisfaction about seeing your food being prepared in front of you. Order Ghee Roast Masala Dosa and Sweet Lassi. The enormity of the Dosa was captivating; though the Dosa could have been crispier and the chutneys with a little more tang! The Lassi was watery. Overall a stomach filling lunch. Would definitely try more authentic Tamil cuisine there next time!
As my mom and brother had come from Bangalore to visit Chennai.They wanted to have a good lunch and since this hotel is a brand, we stopped here.Even though one of our friend advised not to visit here, we came in.The service was really poor.It was just around 2:30 and they didn’t have anything what we asked for.Ordered tomato and pepper soup which was very averageMeals was 125rs which had just rice and sambar and nothing more.Curd vada was average.Had a really bad experience
