After a bit of Zomato-ing , I zeroed in on Cafe Alfaham for my shawarma fix for the week. The cafe is located inside the hospital campus, be informed, coz I found it quite hard thanks to the security guard of the hospital who told me he hasn’t heard anything like Alfahambefore.The shawarma was decent. Ample filling, mostly chicken and required veggies. Good taste and vfm for 80 bucks. Adding fries would have gone really well with it.The steal of the day was Pepper Barbecue. Half, priced at 190, perfectly cooked chicken barbecue with a hint of pepper. Accompanied with mayo, hummus, veggies and a kubboos, the pepper bbq is a meal in itself.The place offers variety of juice , shakes and smoothies as well. Cafe Alfaham serves some of my favourite middle eastern fare like the Shawarmas and grilled chicken. They also serve burgers,Sandwiches and the likes. The biriyani is a good option during lunch hours.Good quantity of meat and will fill you up till the evening. The fresh fruit juices are another plus. The service is very prompt and pricing is nominal too.
I ordered a veg cheese burger.. what came was a total disappoinment. The buns were so thick I barely tasted the Pattie inside it .. it was like just eating two pieces of buns :/
Ordered barbeque chicken , delivery was timely. Taste was okay and I felt pieces were slightly burnt. Pieces were not juicy. Salad was also given.
I have had biriyani from this restaurant before which I got directly from there in person due to which I placed order online through Zomato. But I am very disappointed with way food tasted this time. I had ordered a Kerala fish curry for RS 200 which was no where similar to any Kerala fish curry. Also quantity was too less with hardly any fish pieces. Very bad experience.
Had been here last week.order was fruit milkshake,chicken shawarma roll, bbq chicken half and chciken sandwich.served bbq chicken first which was spicy and juicy.i liked it.chciken sandwich was for my friend i tasted a bit from that which was nice.shawarma roll had an authentic arabian style which reminded one of my gulf visit.juice served little late but it was outstanding and really refreshing in this summer. actually its a pocket friendly restaurant for those who visit global hospital..which is really a blessing
