Amazing

It’s a small cafe with a good ambience and good seating facilities. It serves you finger food such as wraps, sandwiches, slice cakes, mojitos etc. I had the brownie with ice-cream, kadai paneer sandwich and classic mojito.The brownie with ice-cream was a disappoinment because the brownie isn’t prepared fresh and neither is it heated properly. Moreover, the ice cream has ice crystals which completely destroys it’s flavours and end up giving a brain freeze.The kadai paneer sandwich was kind ok. The portions and the filling is too less for the amount charged. Other than that, the sandwich has a cheesy gooey filling of paneer which generally goes against the fundamental kadai paneer which definitely doesn’t contain cheese.The classic mojito also didn’t stand up to it’s name. The mint taste is predominant and it completely overpowers the taste of lemon. Moreover, the amount of ice added to the drink is way too much than needed, again giving a brain freeze and reducing the quantity of the drink.
CK’s Bakery and Café – A newly opened outlet in Shollinganalur Junction.I was travelling to my friend’s house in bus and landed in the Shollinganalur Junction, crossed the road towards Perumbakkam, Medavakkam…. I was waiting for my Ola auto or cab from there… As usual Ola screwed up… since I was starving, I thought of giving a shot @CK’s Bakery and Cafe. The place is new, I forgot what I ordered (it’s been more than a week) – A Chicken Tandoori Sandwich I guess… I loved it. Freshly made, taste was really good. Service was good. Situated in the sprawling Sholinganallur crossing, the joint is a good place to grab a quick bite. The staff is very courteous and polite. The food tasted good. The burger wasn’t something out of this world but it had nice flavours. The seating is rather compact but comfortable enough for private chit chats. Must give it a try. The place deserved a 4 stars but I deduced one for the lack of eggless cakes and pastries.
