This restaurant is located inside Citadines, Sholinganallur. They have valet car parking option. We visited this place on a Saturday night (8:30pm) and the restaurant was full. We waited for around 20 minutes to get our seats. Staff were friendly. We went for the a-la-carte option. But, many people preferred the buffet. We ordered two starters, some breads, gravies, biriyani, and some desserts.Starters were not great (not hot too). Breads, gravies, and biriyani were good. Desserts (a kheer, halwa) was worst. Hand wash and toilets are common for a few restaurants located inside citadines. It costed around RS. 2700 for this dinner and I’m not happy with the overall experience.
This place is on my way to office so one day we decided to visit there. After 5 months of deciding to go there we went there. It was my treat and that day zomato gold wasn’t working. We ordered dahi papdi chat which was okay.In main course we ordered daal delhi highway which was actually very good and quantity was huge.Paneer Delhi highway was okayish and the Quantity was very less and garlic naan was also okayish.I had a very high hopes from this place but turned out to be okayish.Costs around 1300/- for two people.
The food tasted pretty mediocre.
I can easily say that this brand serves best Punjabi cuisine when it comes to vegetarian food. This grand restaurant is pure veg restaurant and as name says it focuses on North Indian cuisine. The ambience of the restaurant itself gives you that wow and rich feel. Interior designing won full marks as it really looks Grand. They serve Maharaja thali and even the A la carte fusion cuisine. The Maharaja thali is unlimited and it is mainly divided in 5 parts.Welcome drink, Chaat, starters, main course and desserts. Menu keeps changing so you can try different options in thali every time you visit. My Maharaja thali had Blueberry milkshake as a welcome drink, lite and refreshing. Chaat section had most famous Pani Puri shots with tikha and meetha Pani, Puris had masala boondi in it. Other chat I like was dahi bhalla, perfect North Indian dish which can win your heart.Coming to starters, they served Peshawari paneer Tikka, veg Seekh Kabab, tandoori mushrooms, beetroot Kabab, harabhara Kabab and their popular naram Dil Kabab.Peshawari paneer Tikka had good marinated paneer with secret spices and then cooked in tandoor. Tandoori mushrooms we’re good too, best part that those mushrooms were juicy enough.naram Dil Kabab is one dish from Delhi highway that you should not miss. Filling of paneer, mawa, cardamom flavour and then coated in corn flakes and deep fried.Main course had one thali which had Aloo methi sabji, paneer Tikka masala, Delhi highway dal, boondi raita, chole, veg biryani, roti, kulcha and salad. Dal was really excellent, black dal cooked with butter and cream with a good hit of tomato.Desserts were Kheer and Gulab jamun, which was really spongy , not over sweet and warm. From A la Carte we ordered Jalebi with Rabdi which was super inviting. Freshly fried jalebi served with homemade thin Rabdi perfect duo , can say dish of the day.
Their thali is a must try.all the items are vegetarian and authentic.the starters are amazing and the presentation is remarkable.would reccomend their dahi bhalla, phirni, dal makhani, kebabs.it is a great fine dining place at an affordable price.Food:5Ambience:5Service:3As we were among the last few customers to visit the place before the kitchen closes, the staff was hurrying up and had a rushed up approach to the point of presenting the mouth fresheners and bill while we were completing the meal.it did dampen the ambience for me.
