Oh wow! A lovely South Tamil Nadu meals after a looooong time!This place has been on my go-to-list for a long time now. This afternoon looked great for it because I was craving for meals.Place is not hard to find on the main road of OMR service lane. I had couple of hickups getting here. Crashed my car on the divider entering the service lane (my bad), Felt like a bad vibe but I was totally wrong!Small neat place, I was welcomed by their staff immediately and took a seat. Ordered the fish meals. It consists of meals + omelet + fish fry (sankara) @ ₹249.Got served immediately by Vicky their waiter.They serve 4 types of thokku first. It consists of crab, kadai, prawn and karuvadu. Rice was hot and nice. All the thokkus were amazing! Not a big fan of karuvadu but it was still good. They also give nattu kozhi and fish curry, rasam, moore etc.The service by Vicky and the other akkas were very polite and genuine. Homely feel was there. They ensured my banana leaf was never empty and kept me engaged. Had a quick chat with the owner at the end and understood that their masala were hand ground and no additives are used, which is easily felt in the food. Stomach feels light after heavy meals. Good to see such places do good for customers with excellent taste.Overall a very satisfying meal! My craving was completely taken care of by the food and the excellent service. Will definitely be a repeat customer.
Went to this place for today’s dinner very very disappointed. Seeing the reviews from zomato and where Chennai eats went to dine at 7.15 PM where I was the only one at that time .Asked for some dishes which were not ready .Then ordered one mutton biryani till the time let things get settled. Surprisingly there were chicken mixed to it ,showed the service person the same but he is not accepting it .finally he accepted then got some boiled mutton pieces. We ordered some fish and mutton after long time they said it is not available. Then we were forced to try nethily fish fry which was spoiled. For safer said we ordered idiappam and there gravies were not that great. We came and informed one gentleman who owns the place I guess,He gave good stories that they get fresh ingredients. We thought it s no use of telling any one to get back stupid answers. We payed the bill and went to omr food street to have something. Very very disappointed with there quality and hygiene standards. Please don’t go on the seeing reviews experience your self once.may be they do good lunch meal I don’t know.
