One of the best restro cafe I have seen in Chennai at OMR. They serve whatever you want.I have ordered something Chinese food and it was not there in Menu. But they have prepared specially for me.. staff is so polite there. Thanks
Food was yummy and awesome. We had Kerala style food and it was so tasty. Also we ordered starters chilly potato, pepper chicken and chilli gobi which also was very tasty.
Had dinner here with friends on Sunday. Well to start with the ambience it was an outdoor seated restaurant with an ancient look. It was your luck if you are not bitten by mosquitoes, make sure that the table is surrounded by fans.Soups : Tomato and hot and sour mushroom.There was not even a single piece of mushroom in the soup, where as tomato soup was the worst that I have tasted with salt water and boiled tomato pieces in it, which was very hard to taste.Starters : Chilli paneer and Gobi 65Chilli paneer was completely dipped in tomato sauce where the sweetness of tomato has dominated the flavour of the dish.Gobi 65 was very bad as they have dipped the Gobi in the basin powder and served with chilli powder and onion on the top, which was tasteless.Main course: Gobi noodles , chapathi and paneer butter masala and rajma curry.Well the Gobi noodles were completely saucy and the mushrooms which were served for Gobi 65 were added. Noodles were completely sweet which has spoiled the taste.Chapathi was not baked properly. This was the only place where even chapathi was not good.Rajma curry was ok.Rating : Food – 1/5Service – 1/5Ambience – 3/5Main Minus points:Service was worst, as it was Sunday evening there was crowd and only one person was available to look after the entire restaurant.There were a couple of times where the order was misplaced and served for others.We have literally waited for 45 mins to get the soup served, I don’t know what took them so long.After 20 mins of ordering the main course, they have informed us that the Paneer was not available.Final Verdict : I recommend to avoid the place as the wait time was too long and the food was very bad. Come on people as I say always, there are many other places offering better food, go on and search.
Came here for dinner with friends. Absolutely won’t recommend this to anyone. The setup looks good but since it is an open place, you are guaranteed to be greeted by mosquitoes. Coming to the service, it was delayed, that was understandable because of the shortage of staff, but the worst thing was we had to keep on reminding them what we ordered and after some time the waiter mentioned that they ran out of Chicken dry items. We had to adjust with fried rice which was too difficult to gulp down our throats. At the end ordered some lassi and lemon juice and I don’t remember any other place where they serve those worse than this. Won’t be coming back here for sure.
