Trust me, you have to wait for hours together to get the starters!Had a very bad experience! Went with a friend of mine and ordered Panner tikka and veg Hakka noodles! After 15 mins, table mats n plates were arranged for us on the table! After 20 mins, order was taken! After half an hour of order, the person came and said that noodles would take 10 mins to 20 mins! We said okay! But then later after 10 mins, another person came and told that noodles is not available. Remember until then, even the paneer tikka starter wasn’t served. Very poor service
If you are a beach lover, then this place is a must try. They have a seating in the open with a beach view. The ambiance was really good. Food was decent. Nice place to hang out with friends on a weekend.The food delivery was a little slow. But overall experience was great for me and my friends.
Ambience is very good, beach view. Indoor seating also available, hut n inside the restaurant as well. Calm n nice place to spend an evening by beachside.Food was not so good, not bad either. But expensive compared to the quantity they serve for each portion.Staff are courteous.We tried some Nachos, Roti, Mix Veg and Brownie.
If you have planned to ruin your day, then sunshine cafe full fills all the requirements. We reached there around 6pm and ordered the food, then lights went out for 2hrs, food was not served for 2hr. When we asked them to serve something complimentary because its already 2hr and nothing has been served, they served peanut masala. After waiting for food for around 2.5hr we planned to leave the place and then they handed us the bill in which they charged 400rs for 2 peanut masala which they mentioned was complimentary. We got really upset and asked them about the bill, they rudely answered no it was not complimentary, and on top of that, they had the audacity of charging service charge after ruining our evening.Worst place would not recommend.Nearby cafe like smoke factory are far better than this place.PS: we waited for thus long because it was birthday party, we didn’t want it to be ruined, and their staff was keep on saying it will be fixed in 10-15 min. We already waited for 1hr so we thought another 10 min will be fine.
Worst service. Was waiting for food for ages. There wasn’t even light there. Got charged for service which wasn’t even provided. Staff was very rude
One of the worst places I’ve been to in Chennai. Food was horrible, over priced. Was absolutely inedible. It smelt of freon gas. Couldn’t try more than a bite of it, had to leave immediately. The ambience of the place is poor as well but has a nice view outside. The waiter had serious communication issues no matter what language I spoke in, had absolutely no idea what any of the items in the menu were. He thought ‘brownie with ice-cream’ was a beer(I’m not kidding). He had to go somewhere and come back every time something was asked. Avoid at all costs unless you just want a good view.
