My friend suggested this place and went on last sunday. This is close to Mayajaal complex. Food was good. The place and seating was average. They tried to keep a look of dhaba.Coming to the food, we ordered rotti(butter & plain),phulka.dal fry, their special chicken curry(i forgot the name),tandoori chicken, paneer butter masala, egg curry. Dal fry was excellent and rest was tasting good. People should try this restaurant once. Most of the chicken curry items where 90rs. I would given 3 star rating, but the lassi which we had in the end made me give the restaurant 4 star. Lassi is topnotch, try it out. Couldn’t take pics.
Eating out at roadside dhabas are always fun and Kamal’s dhaba is no exception. Health freaks, this isn’t a place for you. Food lovers do not miss this place! The Butter Rotis had generous amounts of butter on them. The Chicken Tikka Masala with succulent chunks of chicken. This place isn’t about the ambience. It is about the food and the generous people (Buttery rotis) who make them.
The place is small but the food was soo yummy. Cheap, fresh and tasty food with the smoke drifting from the tiny cooking area, carrying the scent of Punjabi food was delightful experience. Ordered butter Roti’s priced at a mere rupees 12 for one along with a plate of chicken tikka masala. What they brought to us was unbelievably tasty and having already had a sub from the store opposite, my appetite surprisingly increased with the first bite I took. Soft Roti’s with butter oozing all over, each bite was melting. The only reason they are not getting a 5 is for the place. Hope the business will flourish and that people visit them more.
It is a very small shack on the main road. Food is yummy. My standard order here is 1 aloo paratha with Aloo Gobi masala along with half plate egg fried rice served with slices of onion showered with chat masala. The place is not very clean but if you like a road side dhaba, then you wouldn’t mind it. Their very pocket friendly menu is what makes them so famous among students in the area. It is crowded most of the times.
As it was beside my university I had been there but not very often. Horrific experience. If you want hygine then this is definitely the place you would not go as you can see underwears hanging. The curries which they serve taste all the same but do have different names. And the workers are very sad and so behave as if they are doing us a favour.
My first visit to a dhaba. We entered the hotel @2 and finished our lunch @3 30. They were slow in serving. Everyone looks sad as if they are still mourning for their boss kamal’s demise whose photo was hanging. Coming to the food, fried rice was horrible. But the chicken gravy varieties went good. Especially, pepper and kadai chicken did well with parathas and butter naan. One shouldnt miss their lassi’s. I had two lassis. I have attached my bill. Overall an ok experience.
