Hi i ordered shawarma and french fries here. Shawarma was okay. But French Fries.. I really got shocked and disappointed when i saw. The thing came is we can prepare and eat it at home itself.. Fully oily and with thick browish color. No salt No taste. Oil oly with 10 pieces of potato slice I hate it.. Unworth.. Money waste.. Please dont order french fries here.. Rs.110. But the received food’s worth cost should be rs. 20 oly.. This s Cheating.. Very poor!

Themed Restaurants are hardly known in North Chennai area. They generally limit themselves to Places like Adyar. Santhome Anna Salai etc. SO Full Marks to the Management to think of this Themed Restaurant at Royapuram. And they did a pretty good job aligning with the Theme I should say. To start with the Actual floor area of the Restaurant is very limited – you can hardly accommodate 50 Diners at a time. Very narrow are inside and if you are a person who likes your circle of privacy to eat you might not prefer this place. But saying that in that confined place the team had tried their best to do justice to their name. At the Entrance you have a KingKong welcoming you in. Then you enter a passage of cave and then the dining area. Which is covered on top with a artificial green cover and fruits hanging from the ceilings. The walls are nicely done with mountainous set up. And Wait there is also a small Jungle Waterfalls – in that area wow! Even to think of that ! Nice!!! If you are lucky enough to get the seat next to that place you will like it for sure. So as far as ambiance goes – to get that ALL IN that tiny place – Hats off to that efforts and thought. Coming to the Food – Its a normal Cuisine you see in a Multi Cuisine. We ordered A Mutton Biriyani, Tandoori chicken, Chicken Sweet corn soup, Butter Chicken, Naans and Roti (which they also call as Wheat Parotta roti 😉 ) Biriyani – was Decent – with a neutral spice factor – quantity could be a bit better – considering they have their shop set next to a Local Biriyani favorite outlet – Nizam Biriyani and they have some serious quantity. So naturally comparisons are in order. Soup was fine – so are the Naan/Rotis. Butter chicken was well prepared and the Tandoori Chicken lacked a bit of seasoning and some more care on the Tandoor. All in all – they are just starting so let’s hope that they start attending the feedback and iron out their wrinkles. Because if they can do that – the concept and good food in our area can take them to good places.
