Whether you’re passing through Coimbatore or even put up here, Madurai Kurinji Mess is a must eat. I now have a lot of appreciation for yet another Thamizhu cooking style (Chettinaadu was the only other i was ever familiar with)Definitely try the meals and please do not leave without trying out their special Chicken Chops and Fish Fry. Once you’re happy and wrapping up (quite literally, the banana leaf :-P) throw in a soft, mushy Egg Kalakki into your mouth. All of that food goodness with Vinod’s teams’ hospitality, really happy with the service. I’m definitely coming back to try every other item on their menu.
