This is an iconic food place.They have maintained their food quality in the many years that i have patented it.The simple homely tastes have been consistent and staff is friendly and courteous.Their thalis are wholesome and the gongura and avakkai pickles are authentic tasting.Definitely worth a visit
It’s an average one I felt. Their Lunch Thali has too many varieties but it was not that Tasty. Service and Ambience are Good. Taste was Good maybe Average. Price was okay.
One of authentic vegetarian hotel in Chennai with traditional look in a quiet place with sufficient parking and ambience though it is heart of city. Thali is good though expensive .Once in a while you can try food here
Hotel Ashoka- Abhinandan is a place with decent ambience and this is one of the oldest restaurants with the same ambience and the service maintained throughout. Party Hall is also available in Hotel Ashoka with ample car parking facility.One of the most popular items here are the Thali here and the Chaat and snacks.The service here is really quick and the service is really friendly and the place is maintained clean.About the price the rates are nominal and worth the taste and quantity served here. The each and every variety of the dish are so good and could not be complained.The Roti is as usual as the other restaurants and the paneer Butter masala was good and the best this was the gobi 65 which was crispy and went really well.Overall everything went good and no complaints from my side. A well maintained place and good place to visit with family.

Bad response to online orders. Orders cancelled / declined over 45 min after being placed. No proper response from the restaurant nor from zomato.
There is something wrong with delivery through Tomato . Overtime I place an order and my card is debited and sometimes even after order acceptance after half an hour I get a message the order is rejected because of some funny reasons like there is no one to deliver or the restaurant is not operational though at the same time the site accepts fresh orders .This has happened 5 times and nobody is serious about correcting the issue . I am rating 1 because there is no provision for Zero .K Chandrasekar
