Having been a regular customer for over 20 years says it all. The best Tandoori in town no doubt. And friendly staff. Yes the service can be faster, but its all about sitting there and enjoying the 80’s look of the restaurant with a chiller beer! Recommendation: Chicken / Paneer Tikka, Tandoori Chicken or even the platter. Butter Chicken and Mutton Roganjosh. Their continental food is also fantastic. And obviously all these variations in veg are superb. It was my father’s fav restaurant and now continues to be ours.. A Must Visit!
I wondered how such an old restaurant is still maintaining it’s authenticity in it’s taste, service and the ambience. It was a WOW factor for me. I was here for the Spinach festival that recently happened and which ends by 22nd of this month. This is was the second WOW factor that how spinach could turn out to be an amazing dish from starter to dessert. No dish was just made to add spinach to it. Every dish right from their starters were given good flavour and consistency of the spinach and they also explained why certain type of spinach is used in every dish.Right from the Samosa, to Vada I loved their crispness. The Malai Palak Tikka, Keerai kootu, and a lot of other Spinach dishes were made with utmost perfection.Coming to my most favorite part, the desserts, i loved the pudding, the cake and the kaju katli to the maximum.Overall, it was a mouth and heart filling experience which I loved and would definitely recommend the vegetarians especially to try them.
Visiting this hotel after a decade and nothing has changed right from the ambience to their wonderful hospitality. It was quite a surprise for me that they are still sustaining their way to success after all these years and thank god for that. Was here a couple of days back to experience their palak festival happening at The society and again it was such a great surprise that someone could make taste palak so delicious. Not one dish tasted bad or average , every dish right from the spinach spanakopita to the palak based katli sweet was spot on. It was seriously a suprise for me that something that tastes absolutely yuck can taste soo good when cooked with chicken and other kebabs. The regular palak based dishes like the palak paneer and palak kebabs even tasted good. The vada which was also a palak based was soo crispy and soft and tasted nothing like bitter palak.Heading to desserts the gulkand gulab jamun and the palak katli was my personal favourite , they even had a pudding made out of prune I guess was pretty good.If you’re someone who has visited ambassador palava In your childhood and forgot about it’s existence then you must visit them or if you’re someone who has no idea about them then you have to visit them just for their palak food festival.Food : 8/10Service : 9/10Ambience : 8/10Overall experience : 8/10
It’s one of a kind of experience , a really lovely place for dining , has a really helpful staff. The food is really worth the try , as I am a sucker for briyani , I really enjoyed it , with other dishes such as the Jade Chicken. I would recommend the place for the food and love to visit once more .
One beautiful experience . The place has a warm setting and the people take utter patience in explaining you everything about their food , its preparation and the varieties . The menu us chic , but we visited during the spinach week and I’m still impressed on how delicious spinach could get . The place is beautiful with ritzy interiors and soothing lighting and the food was delicious . We loved the spanakopita , spinach and cheese fritters , chicken biryani , and all their desserts ❤
