So I’m the kind of foodie who always sees before hand as to what and all, same with this place as well. It was around 9:45pm yesterday I went to this place. The ambience is passable, and went on to order. So the guy sitting at the counted said they have evrything on the menu, and when they had around 4 sandwiches and burgers. When I went to order he told me out Of The 8 selections only 1 was available.why in the first place would I get an option then? Really disappointed. Oh and in tuck shop I didn’t read the menu that was given here. It was from donut house.

Eggplant burger with hummus, the menu read! I,being super curious about this eggplant, made it mandatory to visit this place someday. Sharing same place with donut house, tuck shop is a small place, very ideal for a friends day out. One should have a strong heart to not to drool looking at the pretty donuts that are displayed. Our order,#grilled paneer burger: good, paneer toasted slightly!#simple chicken burger: huge, soft burger buns, egg layer, chicken patty, that cheese

One of the frequent customers of Donut House but not Tuckshop? Sounds pretty lame, right? I was apprehensive to try the menu as it was in a college environment yet charged a bomb for a piece of sandwich. It’s opposite to Ethiraj college and in next building to Presidency club. Spacious but Paid parking. It’s just a sandwich n burger menu apart from Donut House’s. Presently, they have removed the lounge sofas and its the sleek chairs throughout. Had sauteed mushroom sandwich from here, savoury donut, Hot chocolate with nuts and cream, Green apple Mojito, Espresso and alien donut from the usual Menu. The sandwich was made from panini bread, it was slightly warm when served. Mushrooms were too chewy, pretty difficult to enjoy the dish. Fries were crispy and good. They serve in wooden frame with butter paper in bottom, pretty simple yet innovative. Service is neither good nor bad. Pricing is bit higher for the quality and quantity. foodietribune.wordpress.com

After a very unsatisfactory dinner, I deserved a nice dessert. The red velvet jar looked really tempting, but I decided to try the chilli tart. I must say it was worth it. The tart itself is very buttery and melts in your mouth. A bite of the chilli tart starts off sweet and as it dissolves in your mouth you get the hint of chilli. It is only apparent after a few bites when you can feel the warmth in your throat. The ice cream helps neutralise both flavours, so you can experience it again and again. Ambience :4/5Taste: 4/5

Tuck Shop was on my to try list for sometime. Then when I realised it was inside Donut House, I wasn’t too interested, but we went after sseing a couple of reviews. This place is perfect for Ethiraj college Students and Rani Meyamma hostelites. We tried the Simple Chicken Burger and the Chicken Schnitzel with Coleslaw Burger. We definitely liked the Simple Chicken Burger mucchh better than the Chicken Schnitzel. The Coleslaw In the burger is something we didn’t not like.We also ordered a Caramel Tart which was really really good. The Caramel inside was super molten. Our burgers came with fries and a spicy Mayonnaise sauce.I didn’t think it was anything amazing, so not sure if I would come back here.

I would rate this place 3.5 Cas when I heard the name I really got excited and thought this is going to be something delicious. Was quite disappointed with the menu.. Like same sandwiches and burgers and not wide menu for vegetarian.. They can actually do better.. Ordered panini bread sandwich and burger.. Look wise 10/10 taste wise 7/10. They should work on the flavours too! Presentation 10/10! A must try for sandwich lovers.
