A good place to have a sumptous Non Veg meal for a low price. I ordered Naatu Kozhi Masala but they gave ordinary Chicken and I was disappointed.But the chappathi and two Non Veg gravy they give is so good. A must visit for everybody. P.S. The place is cramped and crowded hance not suitable for families or big group and no parking space.

Only a common masala was used on all the varieties. The crab gravy provided along the meal is good. You have varieties of curries served for the meal for a cost of 50/- . The other dishes too were ranging from 50-100 max. The kadamba fry is alarming order here. Service is good. Fill your tummy in less bucks!
There’s food, good food, amazing food and then there’s marana theeni.That’s exactly what we had today. As usually, I was bored to work on a weekend, so, along with colleagues, I headed to my favorite (read as: tried and tested) Karaikudi Ganapathy Mess.As always, the ground floor was jam-packed so we headed upstairs. The mains is always a humble meals. Instead of the regular meal accompaniments, I always ask for their lip-smacking Kaadai gravy which is a must try here. Then we ordered the sides which included One sided omlette, Kalaki, Prawns, Fried fish, Thalai Curry, Kaadai and Liver.If you’re a non veg lover who isn’t fussy about the ambience and that random weirdo who’s usually drunk, sharing tables with you, then this is the place for you. The meals as such is a regular affair but the sides make them see you in a different light altogether. Prawns were fresh and sufficient. Fried fish was a perfect side for rasam. Thalai Curry was cooked to perfection. Liver was top notch. They usually mess up one dish on each visit of mine and this time it was the Kaadai which was slightly under-cooked. As far as pricing is concerned, I’m sure it’s these guys who made up the term ‘Value for money’.Been here umpteen times over the years and there hasn’t been a single bad experience. Very good taste and quantity..Took a parcel of meals for just rs52, all items were very tasty and rice quantity is huge. Looks like not a hygienic place thats y 4.5 rating otherwise everything great.
