This hotel was one of the best in Ramanathapuram, Coimbatore. Strictly for Vegetarians. Mostly crowded in evening for their special food items. One will be surprised to see their special evening items which are so good to taste. Their chinese items are not up to the mark but they are so good in south indian items. Especially Set dosa and Vadacurry are the not to miss items. Also they are good in veg dry items such as chilli gobi, Manchurian etc.,

Yum: A break from annapoornas and anandas. neat veg outlet at the junction of ramanathapuram. Ermmm: can get crowded and unpleasant dining experience very rarely.Special: Quick service. Neat veg outlet. Some of the dishes here are unique to this place. you may not find them on other veg outlets. Worth a try.

Had south Indian meals in the afternoon. Well cooked rice and tasty sambhar. Appalam was crisp and neat. Kootu was slightly bland. Portal could have been better.

The food here is quite tasty with a wide variety of dishes. Neat and clean, the service here is good too. But they don’t have much space and so during rush hours it can be quite a wait, and feel very crowded. Highly recommend their mini-breakfast (warning: it’s not "mini" at all) and their mini-meals (which is a combo of a chapathi and various variety rice – usually sambar rice, lemon or tamarind rice, and curd rice – along with some sweet). Their lunch is pretty decent too, and I find it better than Anandhas or Annapoornas (but others disagree though).

Quick review:Food: TastyAmbience: Hygienic and pleasantService: Prompt and respectfulFull review:It was around 8:00 AM in the morning and I had decided to try their Appam and Idiyappam with Kadala Curry. They waiters were respectful and prompt in taking orders and bring the food. I was surprised that they offer customers 3 varieties of Chutney on the table as side dishes for any food item. The Appam was not as it was supposed to be, but the overall experience was great. Definitely a place to eat South Indian food when you visit Kovai.
