It’s a sea themed restaurant and a place for sea foods. It was compact with limited seatings. We ordered seafarers spl chicken biryani and crispy chilli prawn.Crispy chilli prawns: 3/5The quantity and taste of the prawns wasn’t upto the cost. It was just crispy and not spicy.Seafarers SPL biryani: 3.5/5Biryani was different, but still something was missing. The quantity of biryani was great and chicken pieces were well fried.
Tried shrimps which was okaish, required more frying as we could smell the raw fishy smell.Biryani was different and good. You can have an option for prawn or fish also. We tried prawn and it was good. Taste wise it is different than chennai biryani. Small place, nominal price, good sea food option nearby
People should try frish grill here. I love its flavour. Same masala used for prawn bbq too and was gud. Crispy chilli squid is served the best here. They should replace that sweet mayonaise with real lebanese thoum. That mayo served is not good.
Last weekend I along with 4 friends visited OMR food Street for 1st time since it was opened. We just went through the lanes. This restaurant caught our eyes. Because it was only dedicated for sea foods. Though we entered with less expectations, food was really good and pocket friendly. For starters we ordered- Pomfret fish, Crab lollypop, Prawn 65 and fish fingers. First we tried Pomfret which was out of the world. It did set a high expectations among us.. But other starters were not able to compete with pomfret. They were good. But disappointed with fish fingers which tasted like rusk when we munchedMain course – Prawn fried rice, Mutton Biryani, butter chicken masala and 8 naansM. B had an authentic hyderabad style and it really felt amazing when we chew the rice along with the mutton pieces. Prawn fried rice was also good. Here again naan was bit like appalam :(But butter chicken masala had original dhaba style one.Overall the experience was good despite one or two okayish food. But otherwise it’s a good place to try good sea food and biryani. All put together bill was around Rs. 1500/- which was absolutely worth for money.
worst food I had
