I ordered for a home delivery twice. First time I ordered pongal, masala dosa and a onion rava. The pongal was excellent. Both masala dosa and onion rava tasted good but by the time it reached my home it had lost all its crispiness and had become soggy. Impressed by the pongal the first time, I ordered it again the second time another day along with gobi noodles. The pongal was not like the first time, it was only average this time. The gobi noodles was good though. Delivery was quick both the times.
Price is exorbitant here. The quantity of the food they provide also dwindle from time to time. The quality also has reduced considerably. The ambiance is also not great either and not to mention the very rude staffs who thinks they are giving out food for free.
I was looking for some home delivery place for breakfast. Came to know about this place from Swiggy. Ordered Sambar Idly, Vadai and Pongal. It came in promised time. The quantity of pongal is more than I expected. Even Vadai is crispy and big. Taste is decent. Even sambar idly is good. Sambar is bit sour. White and red chutneys are decent. Price seems slightly on higher side but considering its quantity one can go for it.
Sathya foods is a small self service vegetarian food outlet with a very basic ambiance and okay hygiene. But the kind of place they are and the cost they charge for their food is an oxymoron. I tried idly, vadai and poori masala. Idly was soft but small. Vadai was big in size and was tasty. Sambar had a sour tangy taste which spoilt it. Coconut chutney was fresh and good to taste but there was a strand of hair in it. Tomato chutney was average. Poori was okay while the potato masala that comes with it was good. Overall for these items I paid Rs93 which is on par with any other high end veg restaurant in the city which is a bit too much for this small average self service joint. srirelishes.blogspot.com
