Took a take away of special chicken biryani from here , the biryani was just wow with the shredded egg, fried chicken. There was lot of color in the food which made it look like schezwan fried rice. But the taste was set right. Consistent taste is the only thing that has to be brought in.
This Restaurant situated at Anna Nagar West Extension. My friends from Chennai took me there as this is their school days hangout place. As This place is very famous for the Biriyani, we were so excited to try Biriyani here. This restaurant has 2 categories of seating one is Normal and with AC. AC compartment was so narrow, dark and less spaces between the tables, personally we didn’t prefer the environment. Seating arrangement are not bad.We ordered, Szechuan Friend rice, with extra spices. Friend rice was with extra chilly with 2 big extra peppers. The sauce combination of the Fried rice was tastier, but wish it had a proper Szechuan sauce. And fried rice plate was missing the chillie paste.Prawn Biriyani. The smell of the prawns weren’t pleasant. And we were not completely satisfied with this plate. But the Biriyani rice was perfectly cooked apart from the prawn.Rawthar Special Biriyani – This is the dish of the day. We enjoyed this dish a lot, I ordered this because of my friends suggestion. It’s a dish you would never regret. This Biriyani is served with chicken 65, the chicken were more tender and mixed with the flavor of smoke. The pieces were well marinated with masala. And it had the perfect balance of spice.Tandoori Chicken with Green Chutney. The uniqueness of tandoori here is more smokey and very tender. The spicy level of the Tandoori is on higher side and the Green chutney was fabulous!They took long time to serve the food and it wasn’t organized, we had to remind the servers of our orders. The Tandoori was served almost when we were about to finish the meal. Not satisfied with the service.Prices were very reasonable and worth visiting again.
Worst biriyani raw smell of ginger garlic paste and that brinjal gravy very very worst. Not worth. Onion raitha is good otherwise I am not satisfied with quality of food
All time favourite restaurant great service and good taste and quality keep it up ordered veg fried rice and manchurian both were awesome in quality as well quantity
