This mess has been here, since Satyam set up its office at Kharkhana, and the crowd at this place was seen to believed in mid-2000s. Then, unlimited chappathis for dinner and tasty meals at 40 bucks made people to throng this place. Typically waiting time used to be in the range of 15 minutes to an hour. But with the closure of Satyam’s Kharkana office, the big crowd vanished, with that other two dozen mess opened along with Sai Siddharta. However this place has survived till today. This place retains it charm by virtue of consistent taste.The menu is nothing be to boasted of! Meals, Chapatti, and some curries in the form of egg and fish, and chicken fry. But all these items day in and day out taste well. They should really have a good cook at the back office. These days meals are served in buffet format (Rs. 65). No starters and no desserts. A veg biryani, plain rice, dal, a veg curry, a veg fry item, and ubiquitous sambhar, rasam, and curd completes the menu. I have been visiting these place at least once in a month for over five years, the food never disappointed at this place.If you are around Vikrampuri/Kharkana/Trimulgherry area during lunch hours/dinner time, do drop at this place!
