As much as the ambience could be a little better since the place looks isolated and dull due to the lighting, the FOOD is FABULOUS! The flavours more than make up for it. I hace been advised less spicy food since I’ve undergone an operation and the chef was sensitive to my needs abd curated the dishes accordingly.The Rotis were fresh, crisp off the Tandoor and the Indian curries be it the Paneer or the spicy mixed vegetable (which my parents opted for) was deoicious. Filling food. Papads were fresh and aslittle as a product they are, I’ve seen the biggest of restaurants serve stale, expired papads.The Mocktails too were refreshing and unlike other places I’ve been to, they didn’t taste like sugar syrups. I hope this place gets more people to experience it coz it certainly deserves more for the quality it serves!

Haldi is an a-la-carte restaurant and has some of the finest dishes from the Indian cuisine.During our stay at the Novotel Hyderabad Airport Hotel, while we enjoyed the breakfasts at the Square, we had dinner at Haldi one evening and totally loved the experience. The lamb chops served at Haldi is definitely to look for if you love mutton.

We went to Haldi on Saturday evening for dinner directly from Airport. The place wasn’t so crowded but built up around 9PM with tourist groups staying in Novotel. The ambience is elegant and spacious with comfortable sitting.We opted for buffet as recommended or rather forced by staff giving excuses of more time for ala carte preparation. We started with soup, starters and breads. Soup was good but starters were disappointing. Cold paneer tikka and bhajji was pathetic and quality of paneer itself was not up to the mark. We went for main course with paneer gravy, mixed veg and brinjal masala along with naan and paratha. Fish gravy was good. But vegetarian dishes were too mild up to the level being tasteless. Paratha was ordinary too. We tried corn rice and chicken biryani which was good but nothing outstanding. Dessert were good with variety if options but mostly off the shelves.Overall the food and service was below average doesn’t start d up to the brand of Novotel. Not recommended.
Food is best in class. You will love the biryani. Thanks to chef to make remember the taste. Superb of all and best of the best near airport area.
