I am a regular to square . This latest visit is a surprise, they have increased the buffet charges and reduced the availablity time for liquor and choice of liquor. They also hosted a noisy Cyient company event. God bless the guests.The noise levels are unbearable and similar to that of a cheap barHave to think twice about coming here again. Feels so sad after being a regular since 2013
Review for weekday breakfast buffet – The place has a great ambiance (especially on a rainy day outside). And the staff is very helpful. However, the buffet spread is no better than hotels 1/2 stars below Novotel. South Indian spread is well made but restricted to usual fare (idli/wada/upma/dosa). North Indian (or Bengali) Loochi sabzi was below par. Waffle was well made, omelette was about okay. Salad collection was nice and so was the cereal section. I can take up the rating one notch up given the pricing offered was quite good, but would not recommend driving all the way here (close to airport) for food unless you are in a mood for a long drive away from the city anyway.
Good food, great taste. We happy with their food. Service is also good. Worthy to visit here when on the way to air port. Promising hotel. Wow

It is a fine dining restaurant that offers a lavish buffet spread with numerous live-cooking stations, offering its diners a mix of the local and international range of dishes with Continental and Oriental highlights. And that’s where the salads come in. Filled with leafy greens, heartier veggies like broccoli, carrot, French beans and peas along with choice of meat starting with Basa, Salmon, Pork-Ham & Chicken, these endless potions are fresh, delicious & rich in taste till the last bite.Coming to the mains, it was a never ending spread. Starting with Chats, frankies, dhokla, dumplings & the list goes on. Prawns and Lamb steaks were outstanding in live section and so was the Tangdi kebabs in the Indian Tandoor section. The Gosht Dum Biryani was especially very much on-point in terms of spices & flavours. Chicken Roulade also made it to our list which was delicious as well. Last but not the least, A sinful collection of desserts, perfectly complement the revered traditional & international delights. We were spoilt for choice upon seeing the spread of desserts. A big shoutout to Chef Satish from the Team of Square for surprising us with an enormous dessert platter which couldn’t have been any better. The Square offers its diners, an exclusive menu planned as per their likes where services are rendered with a bright smile. The place is a must visit in Hyderabad.
Of all the star hotels I have dined at Hyderabad,this one at Novotel gave me the best experience and true sense of having dined at a star hotel!Fact that they were having a dhaba food festival during the time I visited,added to my experience.Terrific spread of starters,salads and desserts.They had some unique dishes on offer for the day like betroot kofta curry,baked yogurt (the taste of which will remain with me for a long time) and the Telugu sweet jaggery jhangir.The live starters counter had some of the exquisite dishes in mutton,chicken,fish and prawns.The presentation of dishes is another aspect that they had done beautifully.The desserts included almost all popular telugu sweets like ariselu,nuvvu laddu,sunnandalu among many others.All in all a true blue 5 star experience.
