Worst bakery ever witnessed. Due to the unavailability of cakes in other bakeries, I took a risk to order a cake from Windmill bakery on father’s day eve, as I already had a lot of negative reviews of this bakery. We ordered one of their premium fresh fruit cake, after delivery at 9:40, we cut cake around 11:30 and felt a foul smell. Still, we cut it and found it was too stinky and with rotten fruits. We threw entire 1 kg cake and the later store owner had no say and she was adamant that hey can prepare a fresh cake in 15-20 minutes and they are using all fresh ingredients, even the fruits were cut fresh and she tasted it before applying on the cake.
Ordered a Red Velvet donut. What they gave was a bun cut in half with whipped cream inside and on top with some traces of some red power. This is their version of a red velvet donut. Should not be called bakers. Never ordering again.
Honestly, it is slightly overpriced for what they offer. What they serve as cupcakes are actually plain muffins with whipped cream on top. The place looks fine, but it’s just a consolation. I was generous in giving 2 stars. I would not go there again.
Bought a cake from Windmill. Found it was very bad tasting cake. May be stale or a day old. I was so embarrassed on my birthday. Had to ask everyone in the party not to eat the cake. Threw it in the dustbin.
Horrible horrible horrible. One of the worst bakery . They have ruined my kids birthday cake. I’ve ordered 2 days earlier for a chotta Bheem cake. They gave me stale cake. These guys also charge GST which I have never seen in any bakery. Mojito price is 175. Too costly and the rate really sucks. Please don’t visit this bakery if you want to enjoy cakes and donuts
The food/ pastreis arent fresh , and the prices for the quality – need I say more. Each to his/ her own taste I guess, but definitely not for me.
Most of the times the food is stale. Recently went to buy black forest pastry. The guy took them out from display counter and took them to kitchen. This made me suspicious, i asked him the reason, why he had to take them to kitchen, he could have handed me over directly. To my utter surprise, he informed that some sugar syrup was to be put on the pastry bun, to make them soft. He also educated me that it is normal and every bakery does it. Also once we ordered donut for our kid, i specifically asked if it is fresh and was told it is very fresh. However the donut was as hard as stone. We immediately threw it in the waste bin. So in a nutshell i have decided to stay away from this place!!
