As a Goan i’d like to say that besides the set up there’s literally nothing Goan about this place. The menu is all over the place and the food barely passes as average. They could’ve focused on the Goan cuisine and made it a speciality instead of just adding everything on the menu. The place is quite far but it’s super funky and cozy. Sadly that’s just about it. The seafood which you’d expect to be good (cause Goan theme duh) was just meh.

☘️ Vegetarian review☘️Based on Goan theme, this place located near Hitex convention center is a good option to relax and eat. I really loved their cosy seating. We tried their vegetarian options – Pizza, Cheese Balls, Brownie. For drinks we ordered Orange cooler and watermelon cooler. Both were decent.Inshort it’s a good quiet place to spend time on weekends. The best part was it wasn’t very crowded and the staff was very courteous.Happy eating!

Goa, it could be the smallest state in India, but that doesn’t stop it from being one of the most frantically crowded places in the country. Back in the ’60s & ’70s, the Northern part of Goa became a place for the hippies, a place to escape from the hustle & bustle of everyday life and easily became a spot for backpackers to chill and enjoy some party. The North Goa still seems to be associated with high-rise hotels, watersports, street markets, and cultural buildings but it also still retains its party-vibe till date. Another famous aspect of this pint-sized city is the concept of shacks on the beaches that serve mouth-watering food amidst a happening environment where you can relax under the sun while sipping on your drinks. Most importantly, don’t miss out on relishing the fascinating views of the ocean at these shacks. What if one could get a likewise experience of a shack in the city of Hyderabad? 84 Anjuna Shack which started its operation in April 2017, is a Goan hippie shack with vibes & Continental cuisine similar to any other shacks in the Anjuna area in Goa. This was incepted by Mr. Sovit who is an ex-investment banker with UBS & left his job due to his sheer passion for travel and food and ended up setting up 84 Anjuna shack in the city of Pearls. This place is located in Izzatnagar with close proximity to the Novotel Hitex Exhibition center. It has interiors with casual shack-like music & ambiance with a seating that comprises basic bamboo chairs; you will also find a small flea market with apparel, jewelry, chappal, etc wherein you can shop while having some delicious food. It also has a porch seating wherein you can grab a cushion and bolster and lie down beneath the dreamcatchers. Not to forget it also some nicely done wall art inspired by the Goan shacks & have been well-crafted from artists all across India. Moving to the food, we were here for a new menu launch which has been crafted by Chef Surya who hails from Goa. We started off the special fare with a Cumin Mojito which was really refreshing & a perfect detox mocktail. Following it, Potage St German Soup was served prepared from Green Peas and Fresh cream & had a really smooth texture yet so flavourful. Buffalo Wings was served from the appetizers which were served with creamy cheese; taste-wise again no complaints as it was nicely cooked with the sauces well-blended in with the meat. To our surprise, a pizza followed the show which was Quattro Formagi Pizza consisting of 4 types of cheese(Mozzarella, Parmesan, Processed & Yellow Cheddar) well cooked till perfection with all the flavors instantly kicking in once it was consumed. From the mains, Jeera Rice, Chicken Cafreal & Pork Vindaloo was presented, out of which I really liked the Pork Vindaloo. The Vindaloo curry was prepared by Kashmiri Chilli Paste with local Vinegar & this was really delicious. Rechaedo masala is something everyone is aware of if you have been to Goa & I was so looking forward to this dish. We were presented with Pomfret Tawa Fry which was fried & tossed with homemade Rechaedo masala along with a salad. Truly this dish was a complete winner amongst all the cuisines presented till now as the well-balanced spices with the sourness of vinegar & a touch of sweetness could be felt after consuming this dish. A highly recommended dish for all when at this place. Ending the fare on a sweet note, we were presented with Sizzling Brownie with icecream & Bebinca, which is a traditional Goan dessert & is a mandatory item at any celebration in Goa. It is basically a multi-layered cake is made up of thin layers of a coconut flavored batter separated by melted ghee. Again this dessert was delectable as it was nicely done from all ends. This in-house restaurant is quite a popular draw for folks who want to experience the vibes of a Goan shack accompanied by some good food & great conversations.

I haven’t been to Goa ever but it has always been on wishlist and I couldn’t be more happy to visit the place as it really makes me feel like I am in an actual shack. The paintings, the art and lighting gives a chill Goa vibe.Coming to the food, as they keep changing and experimenting with their menu they just came up with a menu which has quite a good amount of items.Cumin Mojitoa simple and refreshing drink to start with, really cleanses your palette for the upcoming lip smacking food.Potage St. Germain SoupI am not a soup person, but this one truly changed my mind. It’s so creamy yet so light.Absolutely recommend it.Buffalo wingsSimply great wings, the meat came off the bone very easily, just excessive sauce.Quattro ForMaggi PizzaThis pizza was quite disappointing as it was overly undercooked.Promfret tawa fryIt was my absolutely favorite of all items, it truly won my heart and made me feel the happiest.

Great place, pet friendly, nice ambiance and good food. The outdoor is set up like a shack, while indoors are beautifully decorated with cozy furniture and paintings. Their butter garlic prawns and Apollo fish were delicious. But the BBQ chicken wings were dry.
