Don’t order from this new Udupi hotel
I had taken a parcel of Mysore Bajji some 15 days back. Batter inside was not cooked properly and it was like eating uncooked maida. Further, perhaps no curd or very little curd was added to the batter and the required tangyness which one associates with Mysore Bajji was absent. On an earlier occasion too, the Vada I had was not cooked properly inside though it was crisp on the outside.This happens when the dish is cooked on high flame without oil being sufficiently heated first. On the plus side, the accompaniments, Chutney and Sambar are uniformly good at this eatery.
Whenever I feel to order any South Indian dish, I always prefer this restaurant. I really like Onion Rava Masala dosa, Set dosa and Idli’s. It’s quite affordable if you order regularly. Though I like taste of most of the items which I ordered but they can improve the quality of Rice items.
