We ordered veg thali and bhature chole at dil punjabi in forum mall. And the pathetic quality of food pushed me write this review. Worst chole bhature i have ever eaten. Thali was also not so good. Food was too oily and bhature were undercooked. We wasted our money there and left food. I would rather say beware of “dil punjabi’. Food was not at all made in punjabi style.
Came here after a small meeting I had to attend at Forum Mall. Was super hungry and this place was offering mouth watering North Indian delicacies and combos at reasonable rates. We tried the following-:Ambiance- Nothing much to comment. The usual ambiance of a mall with several chairs and tables and number of other eateries. 3/5Service- It’s not too quick and neither too slow – it’s somewhere in between. One guy takes your order and retails your bill too. You will receive a buzzer which will vibrate when your order is ready. 4/5Food- Pretty average if I have to be honest.Chole bhature- Served with two nice bhaturas, the chole was super spicy and lacked the typical north Indian taste. It simply tasted of chilli’s nothing else. 2.5/5Singh is King- Served with Dal makhani, Tangdi Kabab, chicken dumdaar, chicken biryani, salad, two nans/rotis and pickle. The quantity was seriously like that of a kings meal, however the tatse could have been better. The Dal makhani was very bland. The rest of the items were passable or good. 3/5Will I come here again? I will prefer Norfest in SLN Terminus for really authentic North Indian food but this one is passable if you’re in Forum Mall and crave north Indian food like anything.
We ordered Premium Combo, Chicken Kebab and Butter Milk at this place. The Premium Combo has Tangdi Kebab, Butter Naan, Chicken Dumdaar, Dal Makhani, Chicken Biryani and Salad. Each and every item on this Combo was awesome. Chicken Kebab was served with green chutney. The chicken was juicy and tender.Butter Milk was okay.Overall it was a good experience.
Ordered veg combo named singh is king The paneer curry was yummy and the biryani was tasty flavourful and moist. Soft naan served with naan and paneer tikka . Really amazing taste.
