Best place for south Indian food Malnadu kitchenI was here at Malndau kitchen to try some South Indian food. I heard about this best place for south Indian dishes. The ambiance was cozy, and the best part is that it was raining then, and the outside view was very memorable. We had a good time at this place.Let’s start with chicken manchow soup; it was hot, and in the rainy season, with an extra touch of cold, it was the best combination of hot soup. Next, I ordered some of their special starter kara kara Kodi chicken, golichina mamsa, Peshawar paneer tikka, lasunidhaniya kebab, fish tikka, Apollo fish and Kodi prawns.Kara kara Kodi chicken was the best starter of the day because it was ideally marinated and spicy too, as South Indian food is usually spicy, and after a long time, I had this. I must recommend this dish. Golichina mamsa is a popular meat dish in Telangana, India. Golichina means to fry in Telugu and made with local spices. It is a fiery yet straightforward mutton dish that goes well with either rice or paratha.Peshawar paneer tikka usually I won’t eat paneer, but here if you try Peshawar paneer tikka if you are non-veg lover, then also you love paneer here it was excellent, soft and fresh. Then we order some non-veg starter Lasunidhaniya kebab, Fish tikka, Apollo fish, and Kodi prawns.Lasunidhaniya kebab was soft and tender to bit, and the touch of dhaniya flavor it was mouth-watering.Fish tikka usually at many restaurants was not proper up to the mark, but at the malnadu kitchen, it was perfect because it’s made with yogurt black pepper and more things in an appropriate quantity. Then last in the starters, we ended with Apollo fish and Kodi prawns for these two I use to describe in one word luscious. Then we ordered the main course, in that we ordered a chicken curry and chicken biryani. Chicken biryani was the best in the main course. At first bite, I felt it was not proper, but when I take a second one with raita, it was yummy delicious and the best dish to end our dinner.Stop stop stop for a minute, Abhi Dessert Baki Hai, because I never end my meals without dessert. So here in dessert, we had gulab jamun and double ka meetha, both were delightful.Must recommend dishes:Golichina mamsaLasuni dhaniya kebabFish tikkaKara kara kodi chickenChicken biryani.Service: 5*Taste: 4.5 *Ambiance: 4.8 *Cost: 4.9 *Overall: 5 *P.s: This review and point are based on my opinion. One must visit there to try the food, don’t go by seeing review.
Malnad or Malenadu is a region in the state of Karnataka in South India, which spans through the eastern and western slopes of the Western Ghats. This particular region receives very heavy rainfall, as evident from its name ‘Malenadu’ meaning ‘The Land of the Rain’ in Kannada. As much as the region is famous for its natural beauty and lush greenery, equally rich is the diversity of its cuisine, called ‘Malnad Cuisine’. The Malnad cuisine varies from region to region within the land of Malnad, making it all the more unique. Fascinating techniques have been handed down from generation to generation that showcases the culinary skills of the region’s inhabitants who chose these recipes to adapt to their environment. Inspired by the Malnad & Andhra cuisines, Malnadu Kitchen opens up its doors in the city of Hyderabad for the people to experience the flavors from the kitchens of their culture. Malnadu Kitchen is a fine dining restaurant located in Kompally area with well-decorated interiors & they aim at serving cuisines having local Andhra, Malnad or Telegu texture/flavor to it. They have a great amount of seating space with well-decorated walls having miniature plants thereby giving an inviting ambiance. Moreover, they have a seating space that is rightly equivalent to any movie set with a cute corner, nicely decorated lights in addition to the cozy seating space. Talking about the food that was served from Kara Kar Kodi, Golichina Mamsam, Pachi Mirchi Kotmina Kodi Vepudu, Kara Kara Prawn, Fish Tikka, Peshwari Paneer Tikka & Mutton Dalcha with Bagara Mamsam, all of these were really good however my personal favorite was Pachi Mirchi Kodi Vepudu & Peshwari Paneer Tikka both had the right balance of flavors all throughout and the quality of the paneer was really fresh. Few of them need minor tweaks to the flavors, however, the rest of the spread was really good which was followed by Chicken Dum Biryani, Lassoni Dhaniya Kebab, Apollo Fish. Ending with desserts, we were given Gulab Jamun & Double ka Meetha, of which Double ka meetha sealed the deal for me as it tasted really nice. The service was really good & on-time for all the dishes that were served to us. Although there are multiple outlets in Hyderabad that have sprung up off-late serving authentic region influenced cuisines, I would say Malnadu Kitchen’s cuisine offerings are totally apt for local residents of Hyderabad however they would need to do some minor improvements to stay ahead in this game.

We got to know about this place through a common friend of ours. Basically we all wanted to have some Adhara / proper Telangana style food on that day.And few friends suggested about this place. Locating this place is very easy as it’s on the main road. The ambiance is very good and the service too. Going towards food starters were very good but main course were little too spicy. Well, Adhara / Telangana style food happens to be Spicy. Desserts were good.We ordered few Mock-tails, Soups, Starters followed by main course and Deserts. It’s a nice to go with family and friends for lunch or dinner. Liked the ambiance and service. Altogether very good place to be with family or friends to have quality time lunch or dinner with good food. Most Recommended dish would be Tawa Chicken with Garlic Naan, it was just amazing.Like the management and service staff too. Ambience- 3.5Food – 3.5Service – 4I was pleasantly surprised at the ambience, for a moderately priced restaurant, this is definitely a place you can dine in comfort. Pleasing interiors with two seating options including a view overlooking the road. The starters were a little a little high on salt, perhaps it would have gone better with liquor. The crispy baby chicken was the clear favorite at our table. What would I go back for – the main course! The dum ka murgh was delightful and quite unlike something I have had before. The chef did mention that it is available mostly during the weekends. There are plenty of nice mocktails on offer as well apart from the usual ones. I wish they would add some with fresh fruit and juices too.Overall a good experience and good service.

Prior to coming last weekend, I have been to the hotel, where my parents stayed, which comprises of 2 floors. There is another floor comprising of the banquet hall. Finally visited the restaurant few weeks back. Its located in Kompally, just off the Medchal highway. Though by the name you might feel it serves only Andhra cuisine, but it actually had a variety of cuisines on its menu.I simply loved their ambiance, it was quite big, one inside, and one overlooking the highway on the side. I have to say, having visited quite a few places in kompally, this is one of the best here.Started out with a welcome drink- Fruit Punch.Next was♥ Hot & Sour Soup: Having a strong flavour with peppers & a bit spicy, totally loved this one.⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐✔Coming to the starters:♥ Peshawari Paneer Tikka: The paneer was soft, made in cashew paste, bit on sweeter side.⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ♥ Kara Kara Kodi: My favourite from the starters, bit crunchy, it was delicious.⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐✔♥ Golichina Mamsam: The flavours were perfect, but the meat should have been softer.⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ♥ Royyala Vepudu: It was good⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐♥ Mushroom Moti Kebab: This I didn’t quite like, the mushroom & the spices seems like two different dishes altogether.⭐ ⭐ ♥ Baby Fried Chicken⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐♥ Chilli Garlic Fish: Another must have from this place.⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐✔After having such a scrumptous appetizer, I for one was definitely looking forward for the main course.♥ Butter Naan♥ Melani veg♥ Murg Hara pyaaza: On the sweeter side, but this was good⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ♥ Bhagarannam & Natu Kodi combo: I really loved this one,the chicken was tender, & loved the bagara rice.⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐✔♥ Malnadu Kodi Vepudu Biriyani⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ Oh and tried some mocktails too, which were good.♥ Tri coloured Mocktail♥ Blue lagoonComing to the dessert:♥ Rabdi Jamoon: This was a let down though, didn’t quite like this⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ♥ Special Tutty Fruity: The presentation was awesome. 3 different flavours of ice creams topped one of another with waffers. Try this.⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐✔The service was quick, and Kompally was really in need of a place like this. A great place to hang out or come with family.
